*Starlight Tavern* Revival, relaunch, and comeback

[Starlight Tavern]

On top of a hill, sits a misshapen building built of wood and stone. Windows shine light into the dusk and music filters from the building. It is a tavern. The crouched shape of the stables sits off to the west of the tavern. The grounds around seem a bit wild, with climbing ivy overtaking one side shaded by a squat maple. There are various bushes and scattered patches of tall grass guarding the tavern, but the path leading up to the door is cleared of obstacles and paved with slate.

It isn't long until you spot a sleek cat sitting in one of the front windows, who blinks in hello before turning and jumping back into the tavern. There seems to be a scuffle as the cat lands - presumably on another cat judging by the sounds - and then another wanders through the open doorway, tail waving. There's a slightly ruffled look to the tail, but you know better than to point it out. The cat sees it has your attention and jumps up a pile of haphazardly stacked crates to paw at a hanging wooden sign.

It has "Welcome to the Starlight Tavern!" painted on it with messy strokes.

Thread news

Welcome to the relaunch of ST! A lot has changed since the last event, including new lines and extended genetics. You'll see a few new colors (Amber, Light Amber, Apricot, and Caramel) as well as new tabby patterns (Sokoke and Braided)! This means the cats you currently have may have slightly different genetics than they did before as the way tabby works has changed significantly.

While the majority of the work is done to bring ST back on its feet, there are still some kinks to be worked out. Please be patient as I straighten everything out!

For now, any items you win or already have can be turned in at any time. ST make use of the breeding mechanism the quinsta used, so any breedings you have can be turned in that way.

Tavern cats are adventurous and love to make mischief. A few of the younger cats have went off to play - see if you can find them!

These will be added as the event goes on and maybe be added without warning. Cats that previously were found hanging out with a new cat are not eliminated from having another buddy.

It is! However I've decided to stray a little closer to real cats and have tortoiseshells be a derivative of black and a derivative of orange instead of a black black or orange orange as they occasionally popped up the way I used to run them.

Haven't decided what to do if we get an orange color and a yes to tortoiseshell - might randomize the black half.
