Hello beauties!
Back at you LIVE for a second straight month in a row for.... -drumroll-... BREEDING TIME! I know, I know, it's so exciting you just "can't even", but hold on to your butts because the awesome has only just begun! Bahhaa, I like to think I'm hilarious.

So after a series of unfortunate events (which is on Netflix now, btw #watcheditallalready #sosaditsover), I have been lead to my last option left on getting the Somali and Shiba Inu lines. PM has them on her dead computer, so over many FB talks, hopefully they will be here soon.. The problem is though, they will NOT be here in time for breeding season that I know of.. So unfortunately they are unusable for breeding this month. I'm sorry guys, I am trying.

On a positive note, the artist that was doing the new breed for us flaked out (what? I thought you said this was positive!) Well, I found another artist that has an INCREDIBLE style and could match these perfect, so I think within the next week or two we shall be looking at some fancy new breeds to add!! Yes, that was plural!!

.:The Unexciting Part:.

So you've gotten the updates... The Somali and Shiba Inu lines are a work in progress to retrieve, and thus will NOT be able to be used for breeding season this month unless otherwise stated. AND we are getting more than one new breed soon (hopefully)!!

*Sell some PGs for USDs on the good ole PI to buy the new breed art xD

Open until March 4th!!

*Each user may post two breedings unless otherwise stated
* If you have a breeding bed of any sort, you may use that for a third breeding slot!
*Each breeding will result in two kittens/puppies
*You may keep/trade as many babies as you wish
*No breeding beds will be required for this event
*You must have permission if you are using someone else's pet for a breeding
*Males may breed twice per season
*Females may breed once per season
*You may choose to give FCFC the babies you don't want, but in that case they become ours

.:Inbreeding:.

This is highly frowned upon, but mostly if you are a Registered Kennel/Cattery.  This shows irresponsible breeding, but it is your critter so your choice. If you do end up inbreeding the resulting baby will drop in quality as will the parents.  If you use a registered pet and it is bred to a relative, it can no longer be considered registered, so use the tool to check.

(So B quality parents, and C quality babies)

.:Mixing Breeds:.

This is still a new thing. You can not mix a dog to a cat, but can mix breeds.  The resulting baby will get one of the parents linearts (Or the new official Mutt/Moggie art, if it is completed in time!!!), but be dropped in quality, and be marked as species "Mutt" or "Moggie"

A parent who is registered, who has a Mutt/Moggie baby will not drop in quality and may stay registered, but the baby will not be able to be registered.

(so B quality babies only)

.:Markings/Colours/Line Edits:.

Markings and colours can pass as a mixture, but as we try to stay real to how dogs and cats breed you could end up with something unexpected.

Line edits will pass with a chance of 50/50 done by random roll.

If anyone is willing to risk a Merle/Merle breeding their options will be as follows:
Healthy - A quality
Healthy/Sterile - B quality
Blind/Sterile - C quality
Deaf/Sterile - C quality
The more issues, the more white these babies will have on them

Wow, lotsa stuff, yay! Don't stress about the Somali and Inu lines. There were only a few of them out there anyway, and there's looootsa other puppies and kitties. So lots of options for breeding! I can't wait!

I think this pretty girl would brighten up the muted boys kittens


Your ideal woman would have a gorgeous dark liver coat, almost chocolate but with just enough red to catch the light and show off her beautiful coat. While playing she rolls on her back and you can see that the red hint to her coat falls away and her coat lightens to a dark tan on her soft underside. As she sits up and you look closer at her face you can see that the lighter colour is also present under her muzzle and subtly around her light blue eyes making them stand out. Her back paws and just the very tip of her tail look they have been dipped in snow and a thin stripe of white with a subtle curve to it delicately divides her face.
