Some questions arising...

So, I am a horrible failure. This entire summer I have completely neglected every shred of responsibility and activity with my adoptables. Or even the forums in general. I apologise. I know excuses mean nothing, but I have been busy just.. enjoying life, really. I've been working ALL THE TIME, and when I'm not working I'm spending days with my boyfriend who I love dearly. Our relationship has finally come to a point of good. After so much struggle and both of us feeling "numb" with eachother, we finally came out into the light and are cherishing eachother much like the first year we were together. Things are going well, I just have 100% lost my muse.
I know its childish, but at the beginning of July, I lost it so much more than ever before, and even my happiness to be here. I didn't want anything to do with Secundi... and Its all because of my birthday. I got 2 happy birthdays. Out of all the people here, after all the threads others have made about theirs, I got two happy birthdays. It just hit me so hard in the heart, considering half my family didn't even wish me happy birthday either, I kinda just left Secundi for a while.
Enough of the whining though, I know its annoying, I was just upset. Yesterday I had a spark of muse to color, but the minute I plugged in my tablet, I lost it. Today I have an itch, but not for Gremlins. :/ I'm not sure what to do. I know two years from now I'll be out of college (finally) and maybe I'll have time for big adoptables again, but I just have a few questions to ask. Honest answers please....

1. Do you think someone else would be better suited for Gremlins?
2. Should I step down from them and let someone else have them?
3. Can you trust me with the adoptables I am part of now/future ones?
4. Do you guys miss FCFC & want to see something from them? (I have an idea here, but not sure if it'll work out)

The reason I ask about FCFC is because, well.. We kinda died there for a while D: PM is busy with figuring out her new life, YLO is on hiatus, and I kinda shied away for a while. I want to make a comeback with them (again, they are tiny so it intimidates me a bit less, an dI miss them. They make me happy).

So thats pretty much it right now.. ;-;

Awe *pats*  I'm sorry you had a downer birthday.  I've had a few of those too.  I think my worst one was the first year we were in Pennsylvania.  I was far away from home, with Conrad being the only family around, and he completely forgot it was my birthday.  As in, we'd invited some people over that evening to be a bit festive for my birthday, and in the two days between discussing the plan and it actually happening, he'd so completely forgotten that he sincerely thought the party was for HIM.  So, yeah, I totally get how a birthday like that can really put a person out of sorts.

I should have posted a happy birthday to you, I do try to usually when I see threads about people's birthdays.  I've just been a bit overwhelmed and short on time lately.  If it helps any, I got the same number of birthday wishes my birthday this year -  both resulting from "post your birthday to get a pet on your birthday" threads.  In fact, one of those was from you.  (Thanks!)

In answer to your questions - If you feel like you want to pass on Gremlins, then I won't complain, but really I think you've been doing fun things with them.  I also think that most people in our community who have the time/skills/inclination to run an agency have already filled up their time with other agencies, so you may have trouble finding someone to pass them on to, but I may be wrong with that.

If a new small pixel agency would make you happy, I say why not go for it?  Some people will adopt and others won't, just like any agency, I'd imagine.  Do what makes you happy.

I was just looking through my FCFC the other day and wondering when we might see an event from them again.

*huggles*  I'm sorry about your Bday Wild.  Maybe part of it is the distinct lack of activity I have noticed on Secundi.  there are people here, and there are events, but it's just a few now and then, and events are running like thick molasses.  Or maybe that's just my interpretation, because that's how I've been feeling since getting better, just everything is slow, and.. well I lack energy physically and emotionally for much of anything.  So that's a possibility (the lack of people being truly active right now).

1. Do you think someone else would be better suited for Gremlins? No, I don't really care for them myself, so don;t follow them.  But You seem to enjoy them and have fun, and I know others enjoy you running them.  I think they are a good fit for you.

2. Should I step down from them and let someone else have them? No, absolutely not.  But then, I can't imagine ever giving or selling ownership of one of my lines to someone else; so I will always vote for retaining ownership.  Hiring staff, letting others help out or run them for you, is one thing, and perfectly fine and understandable.  But I do think you should keep ownership, I do believe you would come to regret it later if you let them go.

3. Can you trust me with the adoptables I am part of now/future ones? Taking time off doesn't make you untrustworthy.  We all want and even need it from time to time, some more some less, but we all do.  Life has a way of eating up our time for our internet friends, sometimes it's bad stuff going on, sometimes it's good stuff, but either way it happens.  I don't know what's been going on in your shop, but as long as you haven't accepted payment for something, and then not delivered, and not given the buyer a reason why there is a delay, then I don't see where there should be a problem.  Personally if you have something I'm interested in, then I see no reason why I wouldn't follow it, I've not seen anything you've done to make me not trust you to run a shop.

4. Do you guys miss FCFC & want to see something from them? (I have an idea here, but not sure if it'll work out) I have missed FCFC yes, and would love to see new events and such from them.  Honestly I didn't think we'd see anything form that shop until all of you guys had things settled down and was able to sort stuff back out; So anything form FCFC would be a lovely surprise.

My energy has been running low lately, which is at least partially to blame for any reduce activity from me, so here's what I got. I am not too concerned with the Gremlins as it stands - if there are events that are easy to enter and not too many of them in one thread, I'll probably give it a go. If you don't find the muse, then don't push yourself doing events. If you think they are better off in someone else's hands and can find someone, then go ahead and trade them, but I don't see any problem with you running them right now. I have never had a problem with the way you run your adopts and unless - as Kadana said - you don't finish things you were already paid for or do something similar, I don't see me having a problem. That being said, I'd love to see FCFC events. They were one of the adopts where I never really could follow because a) the kennels/catteries aren't something I'm likely to invest my time in and b) the events go quickly since everyone likes them. That being said, I do like seeing activity with these guys and try to enter where I can.
