The Website is here:

(Examples of art are on the "About" Certing//Breed page: >Here< )

It's set up and ready to go, but Before I completely put it onto Secundi I wanted some thoughts
And if anyone had any questions about it, or thoughts/comments/ideas on everything now would be a good time to make changes BEFORE people start getting them and then running into problems.

I think you should finish developing the other two adopts before trying to bring another one here. Ive only seen one event thread from each of your adopts i feel like you should work more on those before you try to establish a third adoptable.

I like them, especially if there will be more breeds. ;D
There will be more breeds as we go along, So many #'d dogs of one breed I figured would be time to get another one introduced--I was thinking 50 or 100?

The two I have running now:
The Stables is still waiting for someone to grab that last Stable "door"--I don't really know what games people like to play, and don't know what to run for them. These were added here on a Whim with no plans unlike the Kanins [Which as an open RP event right now for any to join/enter and reading rules/guides it counts as an active thread] The Stables are not "as" RP based as the Kanins, but I guess I could run an RP for them as well as the General Booth thread
The Kanins Have the RP running, the last thread pretty much ended due to me not knowing what to run (again) as games, Do you have any type of games you like over others?

Adding in..:

The Champion Ring is more involved with breeds, and breeding, and the showing and training, I figured it would be good to put on here, since I would know "what" to run for them and wouldn't have to worry about not knowing what to run to keep in theme with them
They have "Franken Dogs" which is a game like the one I ran for the Kanins that seemed to go over well.
They also have the Shows to be entered (I think the first 1-3 of them will be free entry to help everyone get a feel for how they work) Which isn't "to" much involvement other than entering your dogs
Then the Training is something players can do at anytime (Just remember when training a dog cannot enter a show)
Then breeding could essentially be done at any time--if they have enough CR Gold Coins (Which is won/earned in shows)

I'm not really into dogs or training adopts so i dont think i would get into as much as The kanins. I think you should expand The kanin instead of making another adopt. Thats just my opinion because i really enjoy following them. As for the games you could do that yahtzee game which is really fun , you could do a scavenger hunt game, roll a number to get a pet game, just about anything goes. For the stables I'm not so into them, even tho i love horses, because the anatomy of the horses looks wierd to me, and we already have so many horse adopts on secundi.

Tribbler

Well, If interest in the Stables doesn't pick up soon I might pull them from Secundi
The art is by ditzeeblonde and I wouldn't feel right editing her work to make them more appealing

As for the Kanins, how much more could I expand? I like having one open thread per adoptable because it keeps me from getting confused on which thread has what prizes, one thread per adopt = I know what the prizes are for/go to/are from

If you think I should pull the Stables I can/will and replace them with the Champion Ring?

Pinkshadow

They don't really speak to me. None of your adopts really do tbh.

Is it the art that needs work?

Neocridders

I think I agree with some of what was said here.
I know that you put a lot of work into your adoptables. I just have some stuff that I hope you don't take too harshly. This isn't anything against you, but just my own opinion that you are welcome to ignore.

I honestly have never clicked with your adoptables. That is possibly just my own personal thing, and you might not want to take too much stock into what I have to say. It's all personal opinion and I'm one person, so if you don't agree don't worry.

The reason I don't click with the adoptables is mainly the artwork.
Your adoptables, to me, seem highly traced and very random as far as poses go. If you aren't tracing, then I hope you don't take offense to that. It just seems as if there are so many extra lines that just make it look awkward. Those lines might have been in a reference image, but when I'm drawing, they are not the sort of lines I'd put in there (because they are things that would probably have shading to make them pop, not thick black lines that aren't the main outline).

Your inking is not bad, but it also doesn't vary in thickness. That makes for it to sometimes look a bit awkward. Now if that's your style and you like it that way, by all means keep that. Don't let me make you feel bad about that. But I'm saying this as someone who loves artwork and is studying art for my future career. I want to help you improve, so if you're looking to improve, perhaps experiment with different line thicknesses, perhaps a pen pressure brush with a tablet pen.

Your poses seem very random. They are at angles that are sometimes very strange, like it was a camera taking a photo from above with a dog looking at it. The poses don't seem to have much thought into them, honestly. The male aussie looks like it is barking, but it's at a strange angle. The dogs seem to be smiling but the smiles don't look right.

I feel like the artwork is trying to mimic real life, but the shading and lineart don't mimic real life at all so it looks a bit awkward.

I think my favorite adoptable I've seen of yours is the Faelin Kanin, but those don't exactly speak to me either. I think it might be because to me they seem like they are trying to be lupines/canids because they are wolves that blink and wag their tails. Nothing wrong with that, but that's just how they come off.

Also, forgive me, this is my biggest problem with your Kanins. The wolf is sittign on its tail. I know dogs do that on occasion but I just can't imagine it being a comfortable position at all.

Okay, okay. Sorry I promise I'm not trying to tear you down. I'm trying to help let you build yourself up and improve! <3
Please forgive me if you think this was harsh. I promise I'm trying to help you out here. Feel free to ignore me. I don't want to make you feel like I'm attacking you, and if you feel I have done so you are welcome to shoot me a PM and I will apologize <3

Sorry for long post! Hope anything I said was helpful.

ETA: Forgot to mention I agree with Victoria, I think for such a new user here with two fresh adoptables, it's a little rushing into things to be planning a new adoptable for here.

I think owning two adoptables is fine, or maybe three, but remember that when starting out you may want to put effort into finding followers and creating a quality adoptable instead of a bunch of adoptables right away that don't have a following here yet.

As much as I love dog breeds, I think I'm too in love with the Kennel dogs I own, and these seem like they are trying to be similar, but the quality of art just isn't the same, and these dogs just don't appeal to me. The shading and extra lines and random poses just aren't appealing to me.

It's a personal turn off for me to see someone new to the community coming here and starting a bunch of adoptables right off the bat. Creating adoptables is exciting and fun, but it's scary for me to put time and money into following an adoptable for a new user who I'm not used to around here. How do I know you'll stay? And not just create a bunch of adoptables for them to just disappear right away? It's just a personal thing, but that's how I feel. I hope you don't take offense! I just want to help you see why I'm hesitant (and maybe others feel this way) about seeing you put out more adoptables so quickly.

Tribbler

I was hesitant with adding the Stables so soon after adding the Kanins, but they'd just been sitting for so long, i finally decided to just add them

And thats why I posted an interest thread for the Champion Ring
I know i'm new and that would be a turn off--but I wanted to see if there was an interest for the adoptable in it's entirety

I u se my own photos for reference when it comes to art for the Champion Ring--as there are so many photos out there I don't want accused of "stealing" something that may look like something out there, so it's safter for me to just use references of my own art and make them look like it

I will admit I suck at dogs I do what I can and honestly even though I see dogs everyday nearly, I stll can't draw them all that well
I can do a pretty good pony, but realistic dogs? XD not so much

That was the point of the interest thread

Maybe down the road i'll consider them again, but for now, thanks all they'll be put onto a back burner
