Yahtzee Anyone?

This is a Test! I am trying to make a new dice game, so I'm not sure how

well it will work & there might have to be changes made in the middle of the game.

Any ideas on how to make the game work more smoothly are more than

welcome.

Yahtzee is kind of like poker, only with dice. I don't have a lot of

pre-mades colored at this time so we will try to roll what ever Yahtzee score the prize

calls for. You have 5 1d6 dice, you are to roll all 5 dice on your first turn, like this:

[roll*]1d6[/roll]
[roll*]1d6[/roll]
Remove the * in each roll before posting. No edits or it will invalidate your roll.
Look at your results & decide if you want to keep your roll or re-roll some of the dice.
My roll got me this:

Rolled 1d6 : 3, total 3
Rolled 1d6 : 5, total 5
Rolled 1d6 : 2, total 2
Rolled 1d6 : 5, total 5
Rolled 1d6 : 4, total 4

So I have 3, 5, 2, 5, & 4. If the prize calls for a small straight then I do nothing as I win,

So long as there is no winner before me for said prize. But if the prize calls for a large

straight then I would say: Keeping the 3, 5, 2 & 4 & re-rolling the extra 5. Then I would

re-roll 1d6.

Again, Always remember to remove the * before posting.
My roll now got me this:
Rolled 1d6 : 4, total 4
I got another 4.  I have 1 more chance to roll if no one else has gotten the prize yet. If

I don't get it on the third roll then I have to start all over if the prize is still available.

When rolling your 3 turns to try to get the prize roll you may roll your first roll, then your

second roll, & your third roll if one is needed without waiting on someone else to roll.

After the third roll, if you didn't win & the prize is still available, then you must wait until

2 other rolls have been posted before you can start your next turn. This is 2 rolls, not 2

players. The 2 rolls can be by the same or different player/players.

Any input on how to make this go any smoother/less complicated are trully welcome. I

am hoping this can be played without us all having to sit in front of the computer

throughout the game. But there is the chance that we will need to sit through the entire

game.

For our first prize we need to roll  a Full House, For those of you that don't know

Yahtzee, that is 3 dice of one number & 2 dice of another number.
Example: 5, 5, 5, 2, & 2 is a Full House. 3 of any number plus 2 of any other number.

And the prize is:

For prize #2 we need a Large Straight. That is all 5 dice numbered in a sequence. ie: 2,3,4,5,&6. And the prize is:

For prize #3 we need a Yahtzee. That is all 5 dice of the same #. That can be any # so long as their all the same. ie: 4,4,4,4,4. And the prize is:

For prize #4 we need a 3 of a kind. You need 3 of your 5 dice to match. And the prize is:

For prize #5 we need a small straight. This is a straight with at least 4 of your dice. And the prize is:

For prize #6 we need a four of a kind. This 4 of your dice all the same #. And the prize is:

It seems to be confusing some people making them think they missed a round or more. I hope this doesn't spoil your fun. I am still trying to work out the kinks for this game. Hey! This is Rosewood! I'm going to be doing some mimic customs. They do not have to be frog mimics, as long as they are not too complicated.

Rules:
1. You have to match my dice roll in order to get a mimic
2. You may win up to three mimics, but you have to gift one out of the three
3. You may roll once every two hours. That is two hours from your last roll.

These will not be exact mimics, as I am not the best, but I will try to get them as close as possible

Now would you & Rosewood care to finish your turns? You have both taken your first roll now all you need to do is to tell us what you are keeping from your roll & let us know you are re-rolling the dice you do not wish to use. Then tell us in a new reply which dice you want to keep & which ones you wish to re-roll. This will be your final roll for this round/turn. If you don't win on this roll then you may start again as soon as the are 2 rolls posted after your third roll. We continue like this until someone rolls the correct dice to win the prize. I will post another prize to try for when I see that it is won. If you don't understand then Please let me know so that I can try to help you. This is a Test Run on this game, I Love Yahtzee & wanted to see if we could use it as a way to help home some of the Tree Nymphs.
You Do Not have to wait in between your first, second, & third rolls as these three rolls make up your 1 turn. You only need wait after the third roll, but only until 2 rolls have been posted after your third. Shouldn't be so long of a wait. Then you can go through the proces of the 3 rolls again if the prize has not been won.
