How Deep Will You go? [Faelin Kanin RP!]

Frustrated, Kazaal thumped the cold mirror with the side of his fist. The numerous owls sat innocently within the glass, creasing his brow into a frown. It wasn't as if the room was circular or in any way simple in design. Then, something in the reflection caught his eye. His bow. While it probably wasn't the proper way to solve this room, he was sore and tiring quickly of the mirrors. Taking his bow in hand, he notched an arrow and aimed it at the closest mirror. Pausing before letting it loose, he lifted his aim so it would fly just above the owl's head if he were to find the real one. After all, there was no guarantee that it wasn't made of glass. Breathing out, he released the tension of the bow string.

[Tribbler]

Slowly picking your way through the mirrors seem to be working, eventually all that was left was glass on the floor, and the real trophy sitting upon a pedestal!
Congratulations!

Taking the Trophy you're teleported out of the house, to where Sage, Roxy, and timber all await!


Sage turned and smiled, "So glad you made it! I was getting worried.. I see you all got your trophy's then, I'm so happy for all three of you" he smiled warmly.

[Tribbler]

With a sigh Sage turned, still ignoring the ache from the bite, "Well lets get to the mountain hm? I'm pretty sure Whooens are near the base. I'm not entirely sure, I don't exactly track their movements." He stated with a soft laugh, "Or we could explore here first?"

(Options: Go to the Mountain, Stay here and Explore)

[Victoria]

We been here for what feels like forever Roxy thought and then said "lets head to the mountains"

[SkySong]

Kazaal, not feeling 100% himself, didn't find himself caring one way or another. Then again, the 'Whooens' were what they were after in the first place with the trophies, right? With that in mind, he nodded in agreement.

[Tribbler]

"To the Mountain it is!" he snapped his fingers and a nice fluffy scarf appeared on everyone including himself, "It gets chilly." he smiled and turned, leading the way, going slow for his own benefit, and by the look of Kazaal, for him as well.

After awhile of walking snow started to appear on the ground, since the mountain was up north. He shivered a bit but turned smiling, "Why don't you explore a little bit around here, I'm sure you could find something of interest?"

[Victoria]

Roxy looked down and felt her snuggly blue scarf that matched her jacket. "Cute" she thought. She walked along with the group at a pace that she thought was too slow, but she realized it was necessary because everyone looked tired. When they finally got to the snow she jumped in and made a snow angel. "I never seen this stuff" roxy said still on the ground making a snow angel. "Its so fun, but its too cold " she shivered then got up to start exploring the area. Roxy looked over and saw a pine tree covered in snow she noticed that bits of snow were falling off the tree and as she got closer she saw that the tree branches were moving. "What could it be?" She thought inching closer and closer trying not to scare what ever was in the tree.

A loud screech was heard when you got to close an a large brown owl shrieked, attempting to use its talons against you to get you to back off!
React!

[Victoria]

Roxy threw herself to the snow dodging an almost fatal attack.

[Tribbler]

The Whooen shrieked and landed back in the tree, where a whimper was heard but the Whooen drowned it out with more shrieks.

[SkySong]

Kazaal had eventually wandered off in a different direction, when the brown bird swooped in at Roxy. As the bird shrieked, he jumped back, bow lowered with an arrow notched. The bird retreated, but the confrontation didn't seem to be over yet, so Kazaal stood back and watched from the shadow of a snow bowed tree.

[Tribbler]

There was a Loud Crack and a snarl, and soon a mighty red beast held the Whooen in its jaws, the frightened bird flapped it's wings as it tried to get away, but the beast just tossed it to a side not caring it was injured.

The Godly Kanin ignored the others, stepping towards the trees, every step the snow melted below his feet giving way to muddy ground since there was no grass growing under the snow. He reached up into the tree, and gently took hold of something that whimpered. Pulling the baby Faelin from the tree he turned, set it down giving its head a lick then looked up, a White female with dragon fly wings, one was broken must of been injured by that whooen, hurried over soon nuzzling and licking her childs head.

The God of Flame looked to Victoria and then Kazaal, "Lower your bow, There is no more danger." He looked to the female he had bred with--but did not mate with-before returning his gaze to the archer as if able to see him from behind the tree, "You're much braver than the others here." he mused softly.

Still not quite used to the comings and goings of the Gods, Kazaal tensed as the red canine appeared. However, as the scene unfolded, he carefully released his breath and relaxed. While he stepped from behind the tree, he didn't otherwise react to the creature, bow and arrow hung loosely in his hand.

[Tribbler]

The Godly Kanin slowly looked over to Sage who eeped and twitched some, then he looked back to Kazaal, "You, I trust you would protect my....family." He looked to the female who had the pup sitting with her, then looked back to him, "I would like you to watch over them." If he accepted, the God Kanin would spend a lot of time near Kazaal.

(You would also get the God Kanin!)

[Victoria]

Roxy still on the ground watched as the god threw the owl to the ground then started talking to kazaal.

[Tribbler]

Timber was quite startled by the sudden appearance of the larger god Kanin and instinctively moved away.  Angry caninies made her nervous.  Angry birds, on the other hand. . . . .

She approached the fallen owl, concerned about it, but also glad to be further away from the angry god.  Was it still alive?  Would it be okay?

[SkySong]

The dark hunter looked over at the pair, eyeing the mother and pup respectively. The pup seemed to be trouble, proof being the situation she found herself in. However, perhaps because of that, extra guidance was needed, at least until she grew old enough to defend herself. While part of him grumbled and wondered why the father couldn't simply look after the pair himself, the larger, more logical part decided he probably had things to attend to that did not involve squirming children. "I will do my best to look after them." He acceded with a resigned nod.

[Tribbler]

The whooen let out a soft sound trying to flap away to only just flop around trembling on the ground.



The Large God bowed it's head, "Then you will watch over them Kazaal."

[Victoria]

Roxy went over to the owl flapping helplessly and picked it up trying to figure out what she could do to help. Even tho the owl did try to tear her to shreds she felt bad for the little guy.

[Tribbler]

The bird froze when Victoria moved near it, but when she picked it up instead of hurting it further it stared up at her before slowly fluffing out and relaxing it self.

After calming the owl she glared at the kanin god. She was upset that he had to hurt the poor thing. She also wonder why the Kanin trusted Kazaal with his family . "Why cant he just watch over his own family" she thought. "That pup is so cute, but she does look like she gets into alot of trouble" she also thought.  "Where to now" roxy said aloud, looking at the crowd.

Sage was surprised about everything that just happened. Rubbing the back of his head he cleared his throat, "So do we want to keep exploring here, or continue on up the mountain?"

[Victoria]

"Can we keep exploring?" Asked Roxy

[Tribbler]

Sage smiled warmly, "Sure, sure! Have your self a bit of fun!" He moved slowly to sit down on a rock after he brushed the snow off of it, keeping a careful eye over his 'charges'.


There was a rusting sound near by.

[timbergray]

Timber also wanted to explore.  And, emboldened by Roxy's success with the Whooen, she decided to investigate the rustling.  Carefully. . . .

[Victoria]

Roxy saw timber approaching a rustling in the trees, she didnt want her head to be taken off by another owl so she decided to looking in the bushes in the surrounding area.

[Tribbler]

Whatever it was bolted at timbergray's approach retreating farther into the tree line. Dare you track it?


Looking in the surrounding bushes Victoria saw a shine!

[Victoria]

Something had caught Roxy's eye so she reach to grab it.

If it ran away, it probably wasn't too aggressive.  Timber decided to pursue it, but slowly and gently.  She didn't want to scare it any further.  Whatever it was. . .

[Tribbler]

Victoria hurried to the shiny object and -Gasp!- It's a Pick Mutation Breeding Item! Lucky, Lucky you!


timbergray chased after it, whatever it was you saw a bit of fluff dive into a small cave-looking den, but it was much to small for you to fit in! What do you do?

[Victoria]

"Wow! Awesome!" Roxy exclaimed.

She then notice after picking up the item the bush next to her was rustling. She carefully went to the bush.

[Tribbler]

Taking the bottle you moved to the brush to only have a small bird jet out and fly away out of sight before you could even look at it.


Sage moved standing, clapping his hands with a soft laugh, "Come now my children Don't scare away all the wildlife"

[Victoria]

Roxy chuckled looking at the sky to see if she could see the bird but it was long gone. She then went walking around looking for more goodies when her foot fell deeper in the snow. She try tugging but it didnt want to come out. Roxy then started using her hands to dig out her foot . When she finally got her foot out she looked in the hole and it was actually a burrow. Roxy looked to Sage and ask him what might live in there.

[Tribbler]

Sage looked over, and soon appeared beside Victoria, hovering over her shoulder looking down, "Well There are many types of Kanins, and then all the different Animal pets that Kanins can own. This particular burrow? I've no idea! But it looks like it's been empty or the snow probably wouldn't of been over it." He patted her shoulder, before landing gently on the ground at a side, a slight twinge but he ignored it. Really sharks were evil! He sighed, looking over to her and smiled, "Well, What do you think it might be? If you could guess.. Maybe I can summon one for you~"

[Victoria]

"Could it be a rabbit type creature?" roxy said not eeally knowing the kanin names for the animals.

[SkySong]

After collecting his thoughts, Kazaal joined the girls in searching around the scenery. The landscape itself was picturesque in its own way with the snow covering everything in site. It was easy to tell where they had already been, and as such Kazaal wandered off in a direction where the snow lay untouched.

[Tribbler]

Sage smiled sheepishly, "Well, I don't know what a rabbit is... Why not describe the features it has instead?"


SkySong:
as Kazaal started to explore the untouched snow, he noticed some paw prints, smaller than the Faelin Kanin prints.. Interesting, shall you follow them?

[Victoria]

"They are cute little fluff balls, with long ears, and big feet that they use to hop through the snow" roxy said.

[Tribbler]

Sage tilted his head, "well that describes it quite well, I guess it might be related to this, rabbit thing." he smiled, He moved a hand and one of the small furry animals appeared in his hands, "We call them a Bunnox, Aren't they so cute?" He let a finger gently rub the nose that what Sage didn't know resembled more of the earthen Fox.

[timbergray]

Timber stared down at the den for a while.  It was never a good idea to follow an unknown animal into it's den.  Not that she could have fit even if she wanted to!  Instead she knelt beside the den entrance and made some soft noises she often used to call her pets to her back home.  Maybe it would help tell the creature she meant it no harm.

[Victoria]

"Awe it is kindof cute" Roxy said staring at the wierd bunny creature.

[SkySong]

A sharp hunter's eye caught the paw prints standing out in untouched snow. He couldn't quite tell when the last snowfall had been - he wasn't as experienced with wintry hunting - and therefore found it hard to judge when the animal passed through. However, it couldn't have been too long ago unless this area was sparsely traveled by land animals, judging by the lack of tracks surrounding. With that in mind, he followed after them, taking care to step as light as possible to keep from sinking too far into the snow and wasting energy.

The Creature inside released a soft sound, watching from inside the cavern, one glowing white eye was noticeable first, but slowly it hopped it's way back out, long ears tipped in white..



You notice the scar first thing, curious what happened to it?

Sage smiled softly, "Well, I said if you could guess you could have it, so this little one is for you!"

As Kazaal ventured forth, a warning growl was released, but what gave it was unnoticed--at least for now. A moment more and Kazaal could see a slight twitch in the snow, and soon Eyes. There were Eyes staring at him from where the figure was crouched low in the snow..



It watches you for a few moments, but then a voice, "What is that you carry?" The Bunnox Kanin finally proved it's like the other Kanins--able to speak.

[timbergray]

Timber gasped in surprise when she saw the creature that had been hiding in the den.  Oh, my goodness, you're gorgeous!  What's a pretty thing like you doing hiding in a den like this?  You're not hurt, are you, beautiful?

[SkySong]

It was perhaps a little longer than necessary before Kazaal responded, blinking at the creature that could apparently... Talk. Even the strangest thing back on Secundi seemed quotidian when compared to this world. "It's a bow." He eventually got out.

It nodded slowly, "I am okay, this scar is very old." was spoken softly, as it watched her, slowly stepping forward and coming to sit, it leaned up on back paws so a front paw could touch timbers face, "What are you? I've never seen anything quite like you... "

The creature gave a faint tilt of it's head, but still didn't move any closer, "What is a bow for?" he asked in curiosity, slowly creeping forward the slightest bit.
