Beautiful beautiful Quin girls, and a breeding project completed/changed

If you look at my pet page you will notice my grades.  I have.. more then a few lol  Most however are not breeding projects, but rather just bred because well, I love the grade lines.  There are a few that are from projects however, but.. I have never actually followed through with one to completion.. or even beyond that first or second breeding, relaly.  I have some also I adopted form other users, from their projects they had been doing.

Well, I got some lovely TB's from bribing Silv, and decided to do a project with them.  And this time, to stick with it till the end.  My goal was simply to breed a Palo TB.  Nothing too fancy or hard, and not trying to get a "first" or anything.  Just a pretty Palo TB.

I began my project with Rocket Man x Goldies Cinderella.  (Keep in mind while the mare does have some genetics listed on her page, I have no clue what they mean, so my decision to use her was based soley on the fact that she was my only Palo mare).

This pairing got me a gorgeouess Cremello Grade boy, Adib.  Step one in my project went perfectly!



Next season (this past one) I bred Adib to Conroy's Star.

This pairing got me the oh so lovely Pearl.  Step two in my project went beautifully and I was so happy!



So next season I would need to find another TB Stud with cream or cream potentual.  I already had my two choices picked out and just needed to pm their owners.  But wait!  I had another (non project) breeding this season.  And it gave me a surprise!

I didn't have any aims with this breeding, just to breed my TB's so I have more of them.  So I bred Rocket Man again, but with Quadratic Equation this time.

This pairing gave me the oh so wonderful surprise of Acapella!  A beautiful Palomino! TB mare.



My breeding project goal was to get a Palo TB.. I have that now.. completely unexpectedly, 100% by accident, my goal is complete.  I was (and am) so thrilled!  And confused!  What to do with my project Quin now?  I initially thought about continuing on, and try and get a double cream TB.  And that would be lovely!  But.. I have decided to continue on.. and try and get a cream snowflake TB.  Cream, double cream, whichever I manage to get but I want snow!  And since my mare from the start of the project has visible snow, I think (hope!) it means all these grades are carrying it to pass on lol

So a wonderful breeding season I had, with two beautiful mares to add two my herd, and a unexpected completion of a goal, and a goal change.  I'm looking forward to next season with more impatience then usual.  I want it to be here NOW lol  ahh well, I shall use the time to plot, and figure out who to breed with who.  Especially since I plan to start a second project next season as well
