I unfortunately had no bonus tickets this season, but I miraculously bred precisely 2 foals that were exactly what I wanted in two of my projects. Yay!

This first filly is part of my roan tobiano breeding project, in which I'm trying to attain four Gypsy mares: a red roan tobiano, a blue roan tobiano, a bay roan tobiano, and a brown roan tobiano. I bred the red and blue in the last two seasons, so this season my focus was on bay and brown. None of the browns turned out with all the right genes and gender, but this lovely filly was amazingly perfect. She got her mom's roan and tobiano, her dad's bay, and *not* her dad's overo. I'm now 75% done with a project that has spanned three seasons already

1690. Ravvana - 660 x 9 - Gypsy Vanner, F Bay Roan Tobiano, front right Fetlock, front left Coronet, back left Coronet, Blaze (Generally willing, but occasionally nervous, a mover)

This filly I just bred on a whim. I always have trouble finding a suitable stud for my very first Quin mare, who is a solid chestnut Gypsy. This time I decided to try for a red roan appaloosa, preferably blanket or leopard, so I got permission to breed Russa with toff's Jason. Not only did Jason pass both of his genes, but the appaloosa is even one of the two kinds I wanted And she is only second generation, which is great because I prefer short pedigrees.

I'm so glad that Jason passed on his appy and roan for you. Although this season has made me think that he is a double carrier for appy and roan.

I love the sound of your other project and I can't wait to see the project all together. Do you have a naming scheme for the four of them?
