Ok. I totally didn't remember I have a huge project due wednesday. So I need to get materials tomorrow and work on it tomorrow, test it out and tweak it tuesday, have it ready for wednesday.

I need help.

I'm dropping two eggs off the ledge of the second floor at my school. Then it will have about 200 pounds of force thrusted upon it. And then, the eggs will be kicked toward a walk violently...

The eggs need to be in a container, 6"x6"x9" or smaller, must be less than 900grams including eggs, and then can't contain packaging materials (styrofoam, etc), cloth, feathers, etc.

... does anyone know of any substance that can withstand up to 200pounds, that is small, and light weight?

Something that can contain two eggs without getting them broken?

:(

I mean, I'm thinking a wooden crate? Would that weigh too much?
Or maybe something plastic that weighs not so much. but would it protect the eggs? Would it be strong enough?

Oh my gosh. I'm freaking out. What do I do? They have to be unharmed! And I can't like submerge them in peanutbutter or anything like that, sadly. They have to be clean when they come out of the box/container/thing.

UGH.
Please, someone give me some ideas. I'm going to need to go to the store tomorrow. So if anyone has any ideas I can look at for then, that would be great.

I wonder has anyone had to do this before?

(AND NO. Eggs can't be boiled, She provides the eggs. )
Any ideas at all would be so amazing. Thanks.

ETA: After reviewing the rules of this project, I've come to understand that I'm not simply dropping the box. I'm throwing it upward, and letting it fall to the hard flood. I'll be standing on a 15foot high platform (aka the 2nd floor)

I just read this so I'm still thinking on it, but if you wanted to use something like peanut butter but the only reason that you can't is because the eggs need to be clean then couldn't you stick the eggs in a plastic baggy and then put it into the peanut butter? Then you would be able to have the eggs still be clean?

I've actually already thought of it. The eggs will be in plastic bags anyway because if it breaks, the teacher doesn't want a mess.
So, since she's got no peanutbutter because of mess in the instructions, and also must be in plastic bags, I'm assuming that's a no. I wish I could, though. They wouldn't be hurt too bad if they were in something like peanutbutter.

no styrofoam etc for packing materials inside the container.. but what if you found a container MADE of styrofoam?  I've seen them, and even had some items shipped to me before in them.  And I once made an easter egg and sent it to an ex, and shipped in a styrofoam box.  I got the box form a coworker though, not sure where she got it.

It was basically a small box,  made of styrofoam, and the sides, top and bottom were about half an inch thick.  The lid is shaped so it (theoreticlaly) fits snugly onto the top and won't fall off.  I didn;t trust that though, and duck taped the thing on there.  And I think for tossing around, you;d prolly wanna tape it on too.

I'd ask yer postal office, ups office, any other shipping offices.  Maybe walmart.. again not sure, since I got it form the coworker :S

Well, I don't think she'd allow that XD Styrofoam... ha.

Even if she did, though, I don't think it could withstand 200 pounds of force. They aren't that durable.

lol *clueless about the force thing*

I asked Ali (bf) and he's thinking.. but not coming up with much other then (send the egsg to the moon before dropping) and (fill the container with water) which he isnt sure would work anyway lol

He also gives these links..
