Okay so I have a few little guppy babies I bought from the local store. I bought them as feeder truthfully but they got to big to fast and I couldnt use them. SO I jarred them and just figure when they were old enough I'd put them in a tank to fancy at.

Well I noticed one of my babies was becoming very ermm..large. So I isolated it, figuring it had bloat or something and would soon pass on.

Today I checked on it..and not only was there my baby, looking very nice and lean but there were two very small pin head babies in with it.

So either a. my baby is not actually a guppy and some sort of very small live bearer or b.i've lost my mind.

I shall try to get pictures but I just had to put something up about this...

The guppy is a live bearer actually. Did you think they could not have babies? We have had them for years and they defenitely breed. A lot. And they can breed at quite a young age too.

Guppies are actually really small fish... Maybe you'd mistaken them for babies when they were actually grown?

Nono I've had guppies, and  yes they are for sure guppies or for the most part they are guppies as alot of them are starting to show some color. However they are still very young and I had no idea that they'd breed so very young..
