If you havent seen that movie yet, watch it! Great romantic comedy - a bit of language, and a touch of nudity, so child warning if you've got really young ones. But, funny funny funny! Me and my roommate, who is a mega movie buff- stopped at one point and started saying "You arent following the formula! There is a pattern for all romantic comedies, and you broke it!" it wasnt predictable where you thought it would be. I love it!

Example- someone is on plane, going somewhere with the wrong person, while the perfect person is trying to get on plane to stop them. Youve seen it before right? Big dramatic scene, stop that plane, ect ect. Does NOT end the way you expect! No more, dont wanna spoil it!

Oh god, I hated that movie. Me and the boyfriend decided to stop watching it halfway through because it was so bad and unfunny. The plot was completely unbelievable and all the characters were just stereotypes.
I also found it a bit offensive in parts but then I'm somewhat oversensitive about the way men talk about and "rate" women.
I have no idea who this film was aimed at - certainly not me. I find that rom coms rarely work for me if they're from a guys point of view. I hated every minute of it.

I'm sorry to be so critical and negative but I thought it was worth offering a different point of view. Hope that's ok <3

Im must say- if you didnt watch it all the way through, you cant make a fair judgement.

As for the stereotypes, the movie does sort of poke a bit of fun at the "standard" romantic comedy with those characters. And the way men "rate" women... well, that's so very very believable! I get treated like "one of the guys" so often that sometimes the guys forget theres a girl in the room when they start talking about girls on tv or walking down the street.

I dont see how the plot could be unbelievable? Unless you mean that a hot chick decides to date a nerdy guy? Even that is explained later.

Fair enough. I'm glad that I stopped watching it when I did even if it disqualifies me from making a fair judgement ;)
