I'd love to see the ref pics, but I'm afraid that probably wouldn't tell me anything, I'm not good with the coats lol

I wouldn't pm her, being how busy she is, but maybe post and ask, one of the colorists might know (maybe whoever colored them?).

Kadana, Danger looks like a blue tricolor to me, and Rocky is a blue merle.

And I love the coloring on this guy!


(ETA: Forgot to add that merle is referred to as "dapple" by dachshund breeders, and merle bicolors are called "double dapple" in dachshunds as well.  But it's genetically identical to the merle found in so many herding breeds.)
