My husband and I purchased our first home in February and something I've always wanted was a place to have a mini farm. Once we moved in I promptly purchased some baby chicks. And it's sooo interesting the way they are breeding different colors into different breeds.

Was wondering if you guys thought that would be an adoptable people would be interested in?

Just like Silv's Quinsta, certain breeds have base colors, patterns, combs, skin/leg color and egg color.  To breed new characteristics into another breed you would have to breed a certain number of generations to become purebred again. Not taking from Silv, this is actually how they do it for chickens in RL. I believe once a chicken is 75% of a certain breed they are considered a purebred of that breed.

As an example:

In RL I purchased some Blue Laced Red Wyandottes, this is a new color in this breed. They are just beautiful. They are a Red base color with black lacing on the feathers, with the blue gene this modifies the black lacing to a gray coloring.  I then purchased Silver Laced Wyandottes to cross with them. They are a White base color with black lacing on the feathers. I want to breed the blue gene into them so that they are Blue Laced White Wyandottes. I think there's a fancier name for that color combination...but I don't remember what it is.

Had a idea, wanted to get some input from you guys.
