Why hello that, ladies and gents. I've missed you all terribly! I've been trying to get things in order so that I can return here and do my adoptable events and hang out with you all, but things kept happening and I had to put it on hold again and again. Not bad things necessarily, just things.

Finally I found some spare time today and planned to crawl back and beg everyone's forgiveness, but when I arrived in the Town Square I see half a dozen very similar threads already in existence. XD; Well let me join the crowd! I'm very sorry I've been so busy, and I'm happy to be back!

It was very hard for me to be away from Secundi this long. I think this was the longest I've been away from the site since it's opening day. I missed you all a lot (some of you I could see your status updates on Facebook, so I felt better!)

So what has been going on with Ryuu? Well the second anthology with my writing in it has been published! Links at the bottom of this thread. That's good! My parents also filed for bankruptcy and almost lost their house. That's bad. And then two weeks ago my cousin (who is more like a sister to me) had a baby! That's good! Then my niece who just graduated high school last month announced she is three months pregnant...that's...not so good... 

Anyway, lots of things going on in my life, but I can tell from all the Town Square posts that I'm not the only one! I'm glad that I have time for Secundi and adoptable events once again. I'm going to slowly work my way back in here, so please have patience with me. I'm trying not to get in over my head.

I'm also just popping in but I have to say, Ryuu, that's great!  Superb and fantastic!  I am so excited for you and the reviews for the anthologies are so good!  *high-five*

Weeeelllll let's try this re-introduction thing again, shall we?

I'm so sorry, guys. My life has been a whirlwind and ... I don't even think I can properly describe it. This winter was one of the hardest Maine (and the USA!) faced in a while, so that put a lot of stress on me since I travel such a long way for work each day. Add that with work we've been doing on our house, and working on my writing career, and then just recently I had a dear friend pass away.... Well, before I knew it, more than six months had passed since I last visited Secundi!

For weeks now I've been thinking about you guys, wondering how you have all been and what this site has been up to. I worked hard to clear my schedule so I would have time to come back here and participate and do adoptables again, and I think I have finally got everything squared away.

My friend's funeral was last weekend. She was a wonderful person and I will miss her all the rest of my days. But her passing really made me realize how much I miss old friends like you guys. I am determined to make enough time to include Secundi in my life again. -reaches out and hugs everyone-
