The Congregation (Farallon Bribes)

There is a field that is well known for being where many wild Farallon come to congregate. As many who interact with the breed know, they are a very intelligent creature and will not be tamed by feats of brutality or force. However, promises of food, shelter and companionship often appeals to some Farallon, especially the younger ones. It seems that five particular Farallon have come forth from the main pack, very interested in the humans that have come to try their luck at bonding with them.


How this Works:
I'll be taking bribes of ALL sorts. I really don't know what I want yet but I do know I'd like any adoptables to be from active agencies. I'll also take USD, but don't feel like you have to.

Also, you do NOT have to rp... but it'd be kind of cool if you did. Maybe it'll help your chances of bribes being accepted! Keep RP in character and put your bribes in (( )) or similar. Also I gave them all temporary nicknames. Be sure to put their name in bold in your rp post or bribe so I know who you are bribing/rping for.





Desert Prince Claimed by Sera
This is a scruffy, built male that is easily middle aged, and has travelled far to reach such lush meadows. His markings are of some wild type, and he still smells faintly of hot sun and desert sands. He does not seem overly trusting, but looks over the humans with much wisdom. If he chooses a human, he will be quite picky.
(I'm actually really attached to this guy ;_; is that bad of me?)

Little Sweetheart Claimed by Sera
This little female has only just reached adulthood, and seems very accustomed to humans and is friendly to near anyone who comes close to her. She's obviously descendant of domestic types with her black pinto markings. It seems beneath her 'white pinto' she would probably have been solid black... save for that one odd blue beauty mark on her hip. Strange.

Restless Soul -- Claimed by Skysong
Though she has some wild type features, she is obviously mixed breed with heavy domestic influence.  She is young, but skittish and very keen about her surroundings. She seems to know absolutely no human language, and has been truly wild all her live even if she has domestic blood.

Jade Princess Claimed by Skysong
She is a vain creature, spreading her light colored wings for all to see. Her roaning pattern is attractive on her dusky green pelt, and she lacks scales. No doubt she was the result of someone's breeding project that decided to go feral. However, hardship does not suit this fickle beast and she seeks a knew human.

Bad Boy Claimed by Skysong
Brooding and aggressive, he pays keen attention to the females who are coming forward to interact with the humans. It seems the only reason he came this way was to follow them. Despite all his blowhard attitude and flashing of teeth, he gives the Desert male a wide berth.

A young woman sat perched upon one of the many rocks that littered the field, her bare legs kicking idly over the edge as she watched the grazing herd. Picky little omnivores, they were, clipping the very tips off of the freshly growing grass and moving on to the next patch. The five that were nearest to her where not paying her any mind, as she seemed rather content to watch and not bother them.  Others would be here soon, though. She knew as much. She was merely there to keep the peace between Farallon and the other beings, and the crossbow at her side showed she meant business.

A young elven maid is drawn to the field, an Elenaria in tow.  The dark-masked mare whickers curiously, nudging the girl and snorting in concern at the Farallon.  Her ears lay back, but she doesn't leave, though her expressions plainly says this is not the place for them to be!

"It's all right, Etude," the elf says softly, laying a hand on the long, dark mane.  "I'm sure they mean us no harm."

She sees the young woman and gives her a faint smile, but her eyes are, quite noticeably on the grazing Farallon.  Her mare huffs out an annoyed breath, but follows along.  The Desert Prince catches the elf's eye and she moves closer to him, humming softly under her breath in an encouraging tune.

Etude, however, pricks her ears at the white and black female.  She seems intrigued despite herself and whickers curiously at the female just to see if Little Sweetheart will answer.

A younger girl approach, fluffy cat perched in her arms. As they near the dragons, the cat climbs onto her shoulders, but otherwise doesn't leave. They had been watching for a while, but finally had the courage to approach. It was tempting to mingle among the herd, but the girl headed towards the woman who sat among the rocks. With a great deal of hesitation, the younger slowed to a stop a couple meters away. "Are these... Yours?" She gestured vaguely to the herd, hoping the woman got her meaning and realized she didn't mean insult to the majestic creatures by implying ownership.

((Would Starlight Tavern cats interest you? I definitely want to get one of these, but I'm stumped on what to offer.))

The slightly androgynous looking figure peered up, her fiery colored hair seeming permanently stuck in a hilarious looking faux hawk. The more you look at her, the more she seems.. less than human. Her green eyes twinkle with amusement and she gave the young girl a laugh and shook her head. "Oh no... not really. Consider me their ambassador of sorts."

She readjusted the black fingerless gloves on her arms, a stark contrast to her pale skin, and jutted her chin towards the five that were milling about. "They're shopping around a bit, though. I can put in a good word for you, if you want."

The sparkle in her eye though, told that such a thing may come at a price.

Desert Prince eyed the elf for a long moment. He wouldn't shy away.. no. He was far too proud for that. Staring at her sidelong and one ear cocked her way, the only sign that he was irritated was the bunching of muscle beneath his short-haired pelt. However, his tension slowly eased, and turned his head to regard the elf curiously. She was making a pleasant noise, and his throat actually vibrated as he let out a deep resonating thrum that was nearly too low to hear, but could certainly be felt. Though it didn't seem loud, almost every Farallon in the field looked up and perked their ears for a few moments at the noise before responding in turn for several moments before going back to grazing.


Etude's attempts would certainly be noticed. Little Sweetheart flicked her tail with enthusiasm and perked her ears toward the creature and opened her mouth to let out a noise that was something between a babyish bleat and a flute. Huh. What a strange noise. She thrashed her head about playfully, sending her ears and tentacles wobbling about as she took a few steps closer, but not -too- close. They'd only just met, after all.



WHAT??? Bad Boy answered the older male's call with a slightly higher note of his own, quickly falling back to stick closer to Jade Princess and Restless Soul Both of them snorted their annoyance, having been pestered by him most of the day.


(Ok so... yeah. This person is not a normal human. And you guys MIGHT even be able to put two and two together as to who she is. And if you put two and two together.. keep in mind that a human form is not... typical of the breed. Not sure I'd even make it a part of the breed at all but she's sort of a special circumstance for the sake of... plot I guess.

Also, the physical thing you bribe her with to help you out does NOT have to be the item you are literally bribing me with. Just thought it'd be a fun interface. You can literally bribe her with anything.

On that note, YES to Sera and Skysong, those would be great. ))

The younger girl gave a distracted sound in agreement, eyes towards the five pointed out. "I, uh, can introduce you to a few Tavern cats. They seem to favor me." The cat on her shoulder seemed to act on cue as it butted its head against the girl's. However, that was all the woman got before the girl wandered closer to the five, eyeing the skittish, brown female.

((Yeah definitely, Skysong. I'm probably going to limit bribes to one per person unless I don't get any more interest in this thread but I'm very easy when it comes to bribes.))

Restless Soul seemed aware of the girl's scrutiny, swishing her tail harshly and leveling a long stare her way. She gave an aggressive stomp of her foot, seeming to challenge the small human.

"Oh, that would be.. quite interesting! They are cute little things, and I love new friends." The strange woman crooned, and looked over at the posturing female to send a little odd sounding trill her way.


Restless Soul paused, peering at the fiery haired woman and returned the sound before looking at the young girl in what seemed to be a slightly different light. Her head tilted to the side, seeming to still be wary, but at least not aggressive any longer.
