From now on, all competitions will be held using our new "shiney," as TheKennel's has affectionately been dubbed. This includes the January Western -- this will make my life exponentially easier.

I apologize for the inconvenience, but this will mean that everybody who signed up already will need to sign up again, using the new database. Here is the old thread, if you need it:

If you've ever used TheKenne's database, our new database is essentially the same.

FIRST: You'll need to follow the above link and register an account.
SECOND: You'll need to send me a PM (to this account) asking me to activate your account.
THIRD: You'll need to add your competiting horse to the database.
FOURTH: You'll need to sign them up for the correct class.
FIFTH: You'll need to send your fee to this account, if you haven't already. It is 2k per horse per class.

Please don't hesitate to ask questions!

Ok I'm brand new to The Stable (just got my first foaly :])- is there a thread explaining how showing works? I thought maybe I could find it on the main site, but then I saw this thread and I'm sort of confused >_< anybody want to give me a basic run-down of how this works? *sorry for spams*

and buy and equip a halter for your horse. You can also add training medals and a jollyball, but those are optional. A halter is required. Then you sign up on the shiny link provided at the top, PM ravv on here to get your account activated. Once that is done you go back to the website, enter your horse there and sign it up for a competion. Then it's all ready to show

Ahhh- okay! Thanks :] quick question- can foals be entered in competitions/signed up on the new competition registry? Or do I have to wait until they grow up and receive a cert ID?

They must be adults to compete You don't want to tire out the poor babies, plus we have no foal-sized halters, so they would all be running amuck in the show ring XD

Since I ran one class by hand and two with the shiney, doing a January high point would be really complex. I decided to skip it this month, and just divided the prize pool between all of the winners in every class.
