Dr. Kayesh looks tired as you walk in.  "Hello," he says, even his voice a little dull.  The change in the normally vibrant and confident man is a bit frightening.  He glances around furtively and leans closer to you as his voice drops.  "Okay, Alice may have a bit of a point at things being rather. . . unorganized around here.  Don't tell her I said that."  He sighs and runs both hands through his dark hair.  

Now that he's made the admission, however, his whole attitude seems to lighten.  "So, this table is for letting me know when you've used a lot of items on your blobbie so I can keep track of it, too."  He gestures at the mess of papers that currently covers the table.  "This is actually backlog.  There is a very good chance that these will remain a mess forever."  He sweeps it suddenly off and watches it hit the floor with some satisfaction.  

The scientist now smiles at you, quickly returning to his former self.  "So, you've been keeping up with your blobbie, now you can share your information with me and we'll go over any changes that have occurred."  He hurries over to his desk and grabs a sheaf of papers and plops them down on the table.  

"This room is open and should always be open for new forms to be put in."

Bebbie

What is this?  Bebbie seems to have grown!  The red fizzy potion has made her female.  Besides being larger and rainbow-hued with colors that swirl and swish around, that paintbrush is protruding a bit from her back end like a tail.  She can move it, but it's a very stiff, angular motion.  She's absolutely covered in glitter, and it's very likely that she'll shed it everywhere she goes.  Right now it doesn't seem to end, but perhaps that will change with time?  She also seems to have eyes now!  They are hard and plastic-y, like beads, but she definitely uses them to direct her motion.  She makes an odd sound when she moves (or is shaken); the rest of those beads might still be inside of her.

Bebbie crawls around, getting used to her new body parts. Now her looks fit her lovely fibrant unique artistic personality! She seems a lot happier and you can hear happy chittering sounds above the rattling noise her body now makes. Her owner is frantically writing in her journal to keep track of all the new developments. It is certainly a big change! .. Maybe next time she should watch her blobbie better, but she couldn't help thinking this was rather fun.

Arawn

Arawn has grown!  Though she hasn't eaten many items, they seem to have had a profound effect on her.  The black shoelace now protrudes from her back, but she seems to have full control over it.  And a series of marbles cover her body like large, disconnected scales.  Those dustbunnies have even made an appearance in a dusty ball of poof coming off of her backend like a tail.  How strange!  She also makes a jingling sound when shaken; I wonder what she ate while you weren't looking?

Nordin

Oh, my.  Not only has Nordin grown but he seems very... solid.  Maybe it's all that metal he ate!  The little bumps on the top of his head seem to have sprouted further and look a lot like rabbit ears and they have a distinctly purple cast to them.  How odd!  His little feet aren't actually toes, but little blobs that can spread out as needed; that would make him a great swimmer.  He's still very shiny, though, and his tail seems even floofier than before.  He also seems to have gotten some fluffs on his cheeks and butt, a bit like a guinea pig.

Craze

Wow, that is a riot of color coming your way!  Craze has grown!  He's larger than before and has definitely added some new features.  He's grown a long, red mane, and developed both cat ears and cat eyes.  It looks like he's grown some little blobbie feet like his 'father'.  He now has the unsettling habit of glowing yellow constantly!

Bebbie

Oh, my!  Bebbie has grown again And she's made some serious changes!  Her rainbowness has swirled a bit more, looking a bit more like an abstract paining, and she's dropping less pixie dust everywhere she goes, though any violent movements will still cause her to leave behind glitter.  Her eyes have changed to single silver beads, though her paintbrush tail seems to have just gotten a bit longer.  She's sprouted butterfly wings, but also another set of legs that are colored pencils!  Her legs are connected by marble joints and her original four legs seem to have sprouted glass ink vials.  Her feet are part of her original body, but they seem a little spongey.  She can leave colored ink footprints behind.  If she drinks enough ink or paint, she can refill those vials to continue her art fun!

Nordin

Nordin has grown again!  He has retractable claws and that looks like a little mouth filled with sharp little teeth.  His tail seems to be growing more and his cheek fluffs are getting fluffier.  Notably to his owner, Nordin has grown denser, some how, and is definitely heavier when picked up.  There's a good chance that he's also grown more aggressive, as his hunter tendencies have been encouraged by inadvertent games like Hide the Keys.

How do we get WildGrowths and items? I've been looking at these growings for a while and they're lovely!

New blobbies haven't been incoming in awhile because of growths and the new branch, but as long as there's interest, we can get Dr. Kayesh to put out a new set or two, I bet.    The item system needs a change since the current Secundi system is very complicated, but a new style of item usage has been released in our other branch and seems to be working very well.  Hopefully once Growths are caught up, we can do a poll and see what the users would like to see.

(And, yes, if we swap to the new item system, all current old items would still be useable and may be eligible for trading in for new items.)

Boo

All of that aquatic interest has certainly affected how Boo has grown!  He's taken on the form of a flexible and strong starfish.  Giving him the option to eat actual seafood may accelerate this growth, but it may also require more sea-inspired toys and other items.  This may be a great time to experiment!

Pharple

Pharple seems to have been inspired by her friend Bebbie and by her owner's belief in her!  She's sprouted an elephant trunk and has grown seashell ears and tail.  Much like Bebbie, the shells are an actual part of her now.  Though breaking them wouldn't make her bleed, it would definitely hurt her if that should happen.

Nuclei

How... strange!  Nuclei took a great deal of inspiration from that lava lamp!  The horn-type protrusion off the top of her head has a tendency to undulate, much like the 'bubbles' within a lava lamp.  She's sprouted a pair of very soft, squishy rabbit-like ears, and a little poof on the end of her tail.  Her 'base' is very firm compared to the rest of her.

Spunk

Spunk certainly does seem interested in those seahorses!  She's grown an abbreviated muzzle and seems on course for growing a full face over time.  Her tail is a bit longer than before and she's sprouted two seaweed-esque 'arms' with which to get into even more trouble.

Craze

Well, look at that.  Craze didn't want to get left out of the sudden rash of growings!  His mass has increased, but his wings have not; it's unlikely he'll be able to fly with those tiny wings anymore!  His splotches of orange and yellow have taken on the vague form of leaves.  He's sprouted a long, rope-like tail that he doesn't seem to have a lot of control over; generally it hangs a bit limply.  He's grown front legs of a sort; it seems like that bumble ball lodged itself in his chest and just stopped there!
