Fables : Marbled Secrets Herd ~ Roleplay ~ A meeting

[Neocridders]

A female fable grabs your attention with her violet eyes. She stands on a large rock coming from the earth. Her black and white fur shines in the morning sun. Her silver hair blows with the few bursts of wind.



"Hello everyone!" Jinx says in a friendly, cheerful voice.
"I decided to call a meeting here today. If everyone will file in a circle, we can begin. Due to the impromptu-ness of this meeting, there will be no role-call. Let's just begin and people will file in and sit in the circle as they come."


"I thought a meeting was in order to discuss where this herd will be going." Jinx explains.

Quietly listening to Jinx begin the meeting, Haze shifted to face their leader directly. Shaking his black mane out of his face, he sat down and smiled at her, ready to give moral support. It was tough business getting in front of a group and speaking your mind. Especially when the personalities of the herd could differ so much.

Looking around for the rest of the herd, Haze swept his tail across the dirt next to him. "Jinx, I think it would be easier for you to speak to everyone at once if we formed a half-circle instead, so your back isn't facing half the herd at a time."

[Neocridders]

"Oops. I meant I would be included in the circle, Haze.As if we were talking around a table. But that's a better idea, we only have 6 total members." Jinx said.
"Seating isn't really all that important, though. But it could help us get more comfortable."

Bella scoots in next to Haze.  Smiling at Jinx and Haze she wonders where everyone is. 

Never being sure what to say Bella quietly says "Thanks for the meeting,"  Thinking if she says something she wont space out day dreaming.

Ina makes a silent entrence to say hello to everyone

Jinx nods toward Ina and Bella to welcome them both.

"We've got new herd members. Six new members to our herd. We've got breeding season to look at too. If anyone has any topics they'd like to discuss please bring it up now." Jinx said.

A new fable walks in. Her lovely yellow eyes

"My name is Cassie," she said, "I'm... ummm... new."

The shy little girl sat next to Ina, but she made sure there was a little distance between her and anyone else. She sat there nervously, not sure if she should say any more.

Joining the circle is a boy who seems to have secrets of his own.  Sitting next to Bella and looking at Jinx he says " Checking in Ma'am."




Bella soons "Babies I just love babies.  Looks like we all get to have jobs now too!  I would love to be a midwife, I just adore babies.  How are we going to give out jobs?"

[Neocridders]

Jinx looked over to Bella. "Jobs. That's a good question. I suppose if you want to be a midwife, you should be able to be one. And I think if anyone is wanting something, sign up for it. But if you don't know what you want we can assign you something we need."

Jinx also nodded to the checkered boy who spoke.

Cassie sat quietly, unsure of herself. She didn't know what sort of job she'd be good at.

Unable to contain her excitement Bella jumps up and nudges Cassie.  "Did you hear that?  I get to be a midwife.  That means I get to help delivery all the stories.  I just love babies.  What do you like to do?" 


Looking at Bella like she has lost her mind and smiling at Cassie, Checkered Past says to Jinx "Ma'am I would like to be a Border Protector, but will take whatever job I am needed at.  Also you can call me Ches if that is easier Ma'am."

[Neocridders]

Jinx smiled at Bella and nodded. Then she looked over to Ches and smiled.
"That seems like a great job for you, Ches. That will be good," she said.

Cassie was nudged by Bella. She looked to her own feet and wondered what sort of job she'd want. She wasn't really strong, so protecting the boarder might be a bad job for her. "Maybe... I could be a midwife..." she said aloud.

[Goddesss]

Bella Looks around wondering where everyone else is.  "Come one everyone.  We need to get together and get going."

Looking at Cassie she smiles and says "I think that would be great.  You seem to be very sweet and that would be an awesome trait for a fable taking care of stories and mothers."

A pair of twins has been born....

Jinx smiles, "I am happy to announce two new little stories to the herd. We've yet to think of names for the two darlings, but here they are for everyone to see!


A boy and a girl. Everyone meet the newest members of the pack! Haze and I are the parents"

Keeping her distance not to upset the parents Bella is just ecstatic to see the new stories.
"They are adorable!  Congratz!  A boy and girl.  So much fun."

Toxic Drift walks in apologetically; finally getting over his anti-social stage xD. "Sorry everyone for just barging in, but congratulations on the new stories!"
