I dunno if I am really understanding how the Horses work, with breeding, but my first attempt was a spectacular failure lol.

I chose two parents with one mutation and one marking each. Breeding them together produced a baby that carried both markings and both mutations (I think?) I bred them again and got another baby which carried both markings and both mutations.

So I bred THOSE two together (the inbreeding horror! I know I know) and got a baby that I hoped would show at least SOME marking or mutation. But I got this...

Nothing! It's particular frustrating to wait 20 days from the birth of the baby to adulthood to see if any of the markings or mutations show up. I know these are based on PI ponies but the PI ponies show markings in baby stage so at least you know right away if your breeding succeeded or not.

Anyway, that's my rant for the day. XD;; Failure! Back to square one?

I would have expected it to be a lot less "plain". Very strange :/

I don't really understand horse genetics, to be honest. I thought I did but then I bred a horse that inherited some markings from its mother even though the Dad didn't seem to carry them. So now I'm just confused
