Loading hangups

So, it's been happening for quite some time now, and I thought I'd get used to it, but it really is quite annoying D:

A lot of times when I surf Secundi, when a page goes to load, it will suddenly hang. The page won't load, and after about 10-20 seconds of waiting, I go back and hit the link to where I was going again and it loads fine(not always, sometimes I have to retry repeatedly until it loads). I've also tested it out, and opened a new tab while the hang was occurring, and the page opened just fine in the new tab, while the old one would still not load. Sometimes if you just wait for a few minutes after the hangup it will finally go through and load...but on a place like the internet, where google searches occur in the miliseconds...waiting a few minutes for a page to load it pretty close to an eternity.

I don't know if anyone else is having this problem, but I know it can't just be me. Because it only happens on Secundi, no matter what computer I'm accessing it from.

I know I've had consistently slow loading problems when waiting to look at contesting pet profiles, but I've been ignoring that as a database quirk. I have been noticing that the forum has been dropping connection and hanging quite a bit lately though. Is it the increase in site traffic or something else?

I have had the same issues.  The forums arent as bad as the pet side of the site where I am waiting minutes for pet pages to load.  I know others who havent posted yet have the same issues.

I have the same issue, mostly with pet pages but lately it's been happening with the forum too.

I've been noticing this as well.  I've made some changes to the pet pages that will hopefully help there.  I'll keep trying to think what else I can do.
