Valentines Day. Watcha doing?

Okay so i am looking for ideas on what to do for valentines. Ive already been warned by hubby when he called a couple weeks ago that he will probally be coming home late. Cause of this i want to do things at the house.

I am going to be writing letters each day he comes home that he will have to find, and the final one will be bigger, and probally have chocolate or somthing with it. But i have no idea what to do dinner wise o.o

Im also curious about what others are doing. This will be my first V-day with Siurin so im looking foward to it. But i never had one before its why im asking those with more experience what they are doing and they have done that they have enjoyed ^_^

My last Valentines Day was great...we went and ordered the Sweetheart Sushi meal from our local Sushi resturant...

This year....I'll probably go out drinking with my equally single friend |D;;;

Last year I set up a little picknick in the attic (our attic has no window and very dim lightning, so instant romantic, yay) with toast and pancakes and other small bite-size food.

This year I have been dating for 7 months but it's a little complicated.. We are not really together because of distance and other issues, so I am not sure yet if we are going to spend Vday together. If not I will be here doing adoptable events XD Or dragging my best friend to the movies.

Ha! Absolutely nothing this year! Last year had a romantic weekend away in a fancy hotel in london, watched a show and went to a lovely resturaunt- got completely spoilt. We broke up a few months ago though lol, so not really taking note of valentines this year

Yeah i never had fun before on Vday cause i didnt have a boyfriend or anything. Now i have a hubby lol. I mean we dated over the net and we spent the time togethre but with being together its diffrent. Im thinking im going to do what i had planed for our anniversary but his mom ended up coming and i had to clean the house for her and totally forgot about it.

What i think im going to do is each day make a letter, and do a codex type thing. like where id put down a list of numbers that refer to which letter, which line and which word. I dont know what i would say just yet in the letters but i knwo the finall phrase would be i love you, meet me in the guest bedroom. I already have a blanket set up there nd can set up the rest of the stuff for a nice dinner. I keep going back and forth between take out or cold cuts, either way its so i am waiting in that room when he finally decodes it :-p

I am 16, never been in a relationship, so of course I can't help you. Sorry! Wish I could.
Ha. I have band things scedualed for valentine's day, if you can believe it. Ha. But yeah, I know of february 15th as Singles Awareness Day.
But I hope everything goes well. I know he'll love it cause he's with you!

Hmm, not sure! Me and the bf usually just bake a CRAPTON of cookies and spend the next month eating all of them.

We found a really awesome sushi restaurant near where we live so we'll probably go there that night. Not sure what to do for a present this year... hm.

Well, I dunno how far your distance is, but a random idea I came across was sending your partner a box of 365 chocolates, one for each day of the year, maybe with little notes attached to them. Little reminders of you even though you're far away! I'm totally planning on using this one, since I'll likely be moving to another state for grad school sometime in the next year

Good lord, this is gonna be my last local Valentine's Day with the bf D: aaaaugh what to do

Oh the distance isn't bad, less than 2 hours away, so we see each other on a regular basis. It is just that he will have to work the day before, the day of and the day after Valentine's Day so staying over doesn't really work and since he only gets off work around dinnertime we will likely not have time on our side. Funnily we both have balance disorders so can't drive cars, so we have to depend on public transportation and the town I live only has a bus drive through during the day. It's just not all that practical so we will likely just talk on MSN and then meet up a week later or so. No big deal for either one of us ^^

Jojo why didnt you tell me that two years ago o.o last year he was in bootcamp at this time so it wouldnt have worked out but i WOULD have done taht the year we met or the second year we dated. He was in cali i was here in Florida till he gradutated bootcamp and then A school when he came down here in june and then we got married ;-p

However i might have to do that as a gift when i see him at one of his ports when he is on deployment. Weve decided when he is gone im going to save as much as possible, for new things for hte house as well as to visit him at least at once while he is away ^_^

Okay im stuck... Im going to be giving him a letter every day starting when he gets hom on the 11th and ending the 14th. He is going to have to search for them.

My problem is do i want to do a savengar hunt where he has to end up finding me in the guest bedroom, or do i want to give him a code where ti says meet me in the guest bedroom and the code would be based off teh letters i give him each day. Which do you think?

I vote handcuff him, blindfold him, tie him to the bed, skip the mushy letters.

Or, you could always make him a coupon book of "personal favors", each listing the favor and why you love him, so it's mush enough for you, and interesting enough for him.

lol id normally agree but he likes puzzles <.< hmm must think o.o he is going to get 'action' on friday night if he comes home and as far as i know he will come home every night cause he is on FSA duty (food server) so i just have 3 nights to figure otu what i want to do O.O

well so much for doing what i want to on V day. Im getting sick agian. This is now four months in a row ive been sick. Im going to try and get a doctors appointment today since ive now been up since 5 30.

Im wondering if its mold which ive been told has happened down where im at. And if it is mold im going to ask for us to be moved to a new house. Cause this is not good.
