Ok so we are in Peak fire season and apart from the fire that was in my neighborhood last week (which is gone) there are two fires raging.  1 about 1 hour out of town one way and the other about 1 hour out of town the other way.

So for over 1 week all I smell is burning forest (like a camp fire) and see smoke and lots of it, it is bad, I am having a hard time breathing, and on days where it is hot I have to run my air conditioner all day long becasue I can't use fans, they just blow smoke into my apartment.

This is a picture taken from my living room with the sliding glass door open.  It is a nice day (or so I hear, not warm but nice) as you can tell the Mountain is hard to see, and usually it is not, but that just shows how much smoke actually occupies the air in my area.

Eeeek! That certainly is smoky out there. Whereabouts do you live? I'm just curious because I've never heard of a place with "fire season" (except maybe California?)

PonyMama

I live in the lower BC of canada
every year we have a fire season as I live in a desert, so it gets super dry

Hehehe lots of places have fire season.  Even Florida does.  California is in there fire season right now too.

I hope this is the last of it for you PM and that it clears up soon.

:( *snugs and sends you lots of damp rags to breathe through*  I hear that's supposed to help.  Just make sure they're wet with water only and otherwise clean.
