I think I'll be importing all of mine, but I'm not really sure yet. None of them have ribbons, but most of them do have champ packs. I think it'll be easier to have them all in one place though.

now i see you are bringing dogs over and i would love to bring my dogs over. however T'kaya is a champion now. if im correct once she comes over she will no longer be a champion and the points that she has aquire will mean squat?

Yes Sun, it's been posted that points don't transfer over, so I wouldn't suggest bringing your Champion dog over to Secundi.

yea, somethign I'm a teeny bit dissapointed in.  I have some dogs I have been trying to accumulate points on, before I ever breed them.  Breeding bonus's and such.. So they will have to remain off secundi for now.  I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that something similar is implemented here later on.

Just to clarify what I meant - your owner points you've already gotten certainly still remain, and can be used to purchase stuff from the store in the shiney.  And, the record of your dog's points won't be removed from the Shiney either, those are still there.  As far as how those points will affect breedings for imported dogs, well, that's still being decided on.  

However, the points aren't going to affect in any way your dog's contesting here on Secundi, nor will Secundi competitions cause your dog to continue to accumulate Kennel Competition points.  That's what I meant when I said they wouldn't transfer over (put into context, I was responding to the statement that the dog in question was "her best contesting dog" and would the points transfer over?)

Edit:  And, I appologize, the computer I thought I'd have access to this morning didn't work out, and this afternoon some other rather urgent business came up that I had to take care of, so I didn't get to work on importing dogs.  I currently anticipate I'll be able to finish the current round tomorrow evening-ish.

*hugs Silv*  thank you for the clarification hun.  I'll still be waiting to move the majority of my dogs over, until you guys decide how breeding will work, and if secundi dogs will be able to earn breeding bonuses somehow too.  I'll be quite honest, the breeding bonuses is what got me into contesting my dogs to begin with lol  The comp points to spend, was a happy seconday bonus hehe

But it's no worry, and I don;t ant you to feel I'm complaning, or rushing, I'm not trying to.  Just a decision I'm making, most of my doggies will wait till the dust settles on Secundi.  Which is perfectly fine, I have a ton of nice new doggies on Secundi now, thanks to taru's awesome super speedy coloring skills

I wonder if there will ever be a reverse transferring process to move Kennel dogs from Secundi back to the Old World.  I don't know if that's been discussed yet, and I know it's probably brain-melting to even consider now with just the transfers from Old World to Secundi.  It was just something that popped into my head...

I rather doubt it.  I didn't even code anything to let Site Agency Owners remove pets from Secundi -- if they did, it'd break links all over in the battle and competition histories, and maybe later other things too.

I have a question about standards.

This is the phrasing on the Kennel site regarding item standards:

Standard Items are beds and champ packs customized per owner. Each owner is allowed 3 standard designs which are applied to items. Each registered kennel can have 3 of its own standard designs. If you have more than one kennel, each kennel can have 3 more standards.

Does this mean I can design up to 3 standards now, or should I wait until I have a registered kennel?

You can design 3, for yourself.  They are called personal standards.  They would be labled springacres 1, springacres2, springacres3 or similar.

if/when you get a kennel registered, you can have 3 kennel standards.  And they will be labled similarily to your personal standards, except with your kennel name instead of your user name.

I'm not sure if you have to wait to make the kennel standards until having a regitered kennel or not, but if you are using an abreviaiton of your kennels name on the standards, then I would suggest waiting, in case someone else registeres before you do with that name.

Those are too funny.  I'm thinking about importing my dogs that aren't competing right now, but almost all of them are ones I've bred from other people's dogs.

I'll probably import Lady (she's my best show dog), Hayley (my kennel dog namesake) and Cielo (my cat in kennel form since I couldn't manage to get a cattery cat of her).
