Partially broken keyboard

Some of the keys on my laptop keyboard are broken, just so you know

They are:
nine
o
l
ctrl
right arrow
dot

I got those by copying letters but that takes a while because there's no ctrl so must use the mouse/
Just so you know, i won't be typing long posts and may start using chat speak avoiding them, and the dash means a full stop/

o and l are used way too much!

Aww, poor winged! That is super annoying D= I don't think people ever realize how much a letter is used until it doesn't work anymore xD

Thanks! I knw, u wd never think it! I haven't tld my dad yet, he's going to be MAD! And prbably i'll have 2 pay myself, have no idea how i can manage that/

I hate broken keys, was so annoying last year when I broke a few of mine >< Yay for finding a way around it, though! If it's just not including vowels I can probably figure out most words, but chatspeak I have some trouble understanding xD

Since I know the reason I am slightly amused by the chatspeak, normally it would bug the hell out of me. Just like people making spelling mistakes like alot on purpose XD (do click that, it rocks)

What happened so it broke? =o
And perhaps adoptable stuff can raise moneys?

But YLO, I do like that alot. As opposed to a mistake, I believe it's a rare and elusive variant of the species. XD

Also, my previous laptop ended up losing the K, L (which are both used in my username and my actual name!) and escape keys, and the space bar tended to wobble and try to break loose. Few keyboard mishaps are more obnoxious than a non-working space bar, though missing ctrl and period are pretty darned close.

Hope you can find a replacement for your keyboard soon! Since you're working on a laptop, it might actually be cheaper in the long run to pop out the existing one and replace the keyboard in full (I was getting quoted $5 per key and $14 for a new keyboard for mine), but so long as your laptop model is fairly recent, it shouldn't be a problem to Newegg or eBay a new keyboard and find video guides on how to install. =)

hahaha, that just made me laugh so hard!
I can't raise money online because i'm 16 so don't have a paypal account/ No idea why it broke, it just happened, one minute i was using it normally then when i came back later, some keys had broken

Cats. When in doubt, I usually blame my cats. XD If they didn't walk on the keyboard, or try to nest in it, their hair collects under the keys and encourages them to loosen over time. One could also blame younger siblings (or long-night studying sessions) and bread/cookie crumbs.

Though in my case, the reason I lost two of my keys was me being too aggressive when popping the keycap off to clean some gunk underneath them. Also, sometimes with time keys will pop up on their own, especially if you're like me and are a bit of a rough-handed typer. I know my L key just sort of popped off right in the middle of me typing a sentence.

I also remember dropping my laptop previous to that one on a hardwood floor and damaged some of the keyboard sensors... I'm nicer to my current netbook, I swear. *innocent look*

Haha, i have no cats and my only sibling is a twin so that woudn't work  It's probaby food stuck but i can't see anything under them, but the strange thing is that the keys haven't come off, like i've read most of these probems are caused/ I don't *think* it's me, i've been pretty carefull apart from one time i overheated it/

Oh gosh, thats horrible. My last computer had an X key that wouldnt work and that about drove me mad. Chatspeak is perfectly fine We understand. I'm so horrible with grammar anyways that I barely even notice it when I'm reading.
