{Pecora} What would you like to see next? Now CYO

In the Forest of Winter's Kiss, a small herd grazes calmly.  They are surrounded by snow, with only the barest hints of brown branches and green pine needles evident around the edges of their clearing.  Even the sky is a glowering grey, showing no hint of blue or gold, symbols of daylight.  There's nothing particular impressive about this herd; they are the colour of snow, with the same icy markings upon their hides.  

Despite their ease, they are not alone, and it takes only a moment for the lead Pecora to lift his head, white nostrils flaring as he looks around him cautiously.  There, at the edge of the thicket, a hooded woman waits, her cloak a shimmering white, making her nearly invisible against the snow-covered trees.  

The Pecora's stance changes, a move to alert and the other Pecora answer by raising their heads as well.  He eyes the trespasser, but she doesn't move, not yet, watching the snowflake-touched deer thoughtfully.  Silence fills the minutes as they slowly slip past, each inspecting the other.  Finally, she lifts her hands, her voice a whisper on the wind that he can hear and understand.

I offer you a gift; the gift of friendship, of colour, of an outside world.  I offer this to you freely to atone for sins committed in error.  Accept or not, but my time is limited, I'm afraid.

He snorts in surprise, feels the Pecora shifting around him.  They separate into two camps, those behind him, and those behind a younger stag.  It's apparent where the two stances are, though the lead Pecora desires this gift as well.  But some must remain to protect their origins.  He nods gracefully to the other male and his son throws his head up in salute before moving to the woman.  

She smiles and spreads her hands out.  It's only a wave of icy mist that touches them, yet they are profoundly changed.  The colours of the world outside of their Forest, colours of summer, of autumn, of rainbows, and life ripple across their hides, leaving a glorious mural enacted upon their very bodies.  The newly-coloured Pecora mill curiously, inspecting each other, glancing back at their herd.  

The woman bows to the lead Pecora and gestures for the deer to follow her; with a few more glances back, they follow the strange woman into the wood and, soon, into the world beyond.

I want to know what you all want to see next from Pecora so here we are.

So, Pecora have been pretty quite recently. I have had personal things going on and breeding season has been slowing me down, but I want to have another event soon. So I want to know what you would like to see. I have had a few ideas but I want more from you.

I just finished reading a book series involving the Greek gods and that sparked an idea. For those of you familiar with Lupines I am pretty much stealing the idea from them. I thought that we could have a large event to give away a Pecora based on each of the gods. Each god will guarantee a special thing for their offspring.

I would also be willing to open up customs if there was a demand for it.

I may be willing to hold a very small CYO.

And I am very open to suggestions. So please let me know what you would want to see!

So only three people gave their opinions of what they would like to see so I guess we are going to have a small CYO. Please read all the rules and let me know if there are any questions.

Rules:
- You may get two Pecora from the CYO, you may not color extra Pecora that will not be certed. I do not want to see non certed CYOs floating around the internet.
- The first Pecora is free, the second one is 10,000 SG.
- If you would like to color for someone else or would like someone else to color for you, you are free to do that but please do not ask anyone to color for you unless they have offered their services.
- If you have someone color for you that counts as your two Pecora.
- For you must have a layering program to color.
- Please post a name with your colored Pecora.
- These will be breadable.
- Small edits are allowed but you must shade them yourself and they will not pass on their offspring.
- Any other questions please ask.
-This ends August 20th at 23:59
- These lines are to be used for this event ONLY. If I find these lines used by someone for something other than this event the person will be banned from all future Pecora events and negative feedback left for them.

I am not ready to open up customs completely but if there are people who are interested in customs feel free to PM me and make an offer. I am not looking for a huge offer and I would be willing to do multiple customs for something that you are offering. Feel free to just talk to me about it. I am interested in pretty much anything.

Ooh, Greek gods? I really hope I can grab the Ares-Pecora. Ares/Mars represents my zodiac sign, and well... I like fire. XD

And as soon as I get home from my parents' place, I'll get started on a CYO or two. This little netbook would fry if I tried to run even a basic paint program. XD

Okay, I have tried multiple sites that SAY they accept PSDs, only to be told "DINGDINGDING! Invalid file format!" when I try to upload my files with extension .psd.  Uploadpsd.com no longer exists or I would try that.  Photobucket and TinyPic won't take my files.  Has anyone had ANY success in uploading them anywhere?

I would still really love to see a big MLP event, I know that was discussed in the past. I think Solistia's style of art is perfect for that type of thing.
