I'm new and I'm still trying to figure out whats going on here but I'm looking to start purchasing dogs for the kennel. I'm also trying to figure out how much money I need to start purchasing, so thanks for everyone helping!!

If you're just starting out, you might have some trouble purchasing Kennel dogs for SG. They tend to average about 500k at the lower end, and I've seen dogs of unusual coloration (a blue Golden Retriever or a red merle Samoyed for instance; natural colors that don't normally show up in the breed) reach prices of upwards of a million or more. Kennel dogs are pretty popular to say the least.

If you're really heart-set on a Kennel dog (and I know I was when I started out), you might be able to offer USD for one. I've paid about $4-$5 each for the ones I've traded for. There's a few open trade threads offering Kennel dogs. I'm not sure if any have Malamutes or Siberian Huskies, but there are dozens upon dozens of breeds. Maybe you'll find another that strikes your fancy.

If neither option works for you, there are almost always open custom slots for items called Tag-Its. You'll be able to find them on rare occasions from the Kennel Secundi adventure. You'll also be able to find breeding beds from the Adventure, which will let you breed two dogs of the same breed once you have their owners' permission. You'll only be able to keep one pup, but you should be able to trade away the others for new Kennel dogs. It'll require patience, but it's worth it. =)
