Hey all. From the chat forum, you have probably noticed my baby Kohaku is at the vets. They're keeping him for three days and the total will be around $350, I was quoted yesterday. Since that is an entire two-week paycheck for me, and the rest of my bills are due at the end of the month, I need to raise some money so I can pay the vet and get my baby home and healthy again.

This thread will be for USD customs/breedings of the adoptables who have given me permission to hold USD events.

All donations/purchases can be made via PayPal to ussfantasy@hotmail.com. It's been a while since I used PayPal, but last I knew, I can not accept credit card payments since I only have a basic, non-business account.

Ryuuu for the okibi, how much can we order per slot?  Like, can I get a slot and get multiple customs, and multiple fox fires with that one slot, or do I need to try and get all 3 slots?

If it's the first, I'd like a slot (Okibi) if it's the second, I'd like all 3 Okibi slots.

Also, I saw you said soemthign about not being able to accept payment via Credit card.. I have a paypal, with money allready in it, will that work?  (paypal options tend to confuse me).

And Dunkel was kinda enough to inform me that Paypal has changed since I last used it, and with even the most basic account I can accept credit card payments (and I can take fund transfers too, which is when your Paypal account already has money in it, Kadana)

Just wanted to take a moment to say a great big thank you to everyone who has been helping out in so many ways during this difficult time. Moving across the US and being thousands of miles away from all my family is tough, even with the friends I've made here in Indiana. This crisis has really showed me how I just don't have that support system I relied on when I was younger.

Secundi has become my strength the past few days. Just seeing all the people giving advice and offering to help in whatever way they can has given me a calm center and the ability to go to work, plow through the hours, bite my tongue with all the vet keeps dropping on me, and come home and take care of my kitties. Thank you all.


And I can't believe it's only been less than a week and together you've all helped me come just shy of $100 within my goal! Thank you all so much!

Looks like you could either choose "Service" under Purchase, because Garney is doing a service for you. Or you could choose "Gift" under Personal, since this is a personal transaction. Either one would probably be fine, either way the money will come to me.

My friend Elka told me about an online LJ community of cat lovers, and I got permission from the Mods to post my story there and politely ask for donations. Look at that total in my first post! I've almost got enough to cover the full vet bill! ^_^ This is so great!


(The people at the cat community tell me the vet was actually being very reasonable with his rates and what he was telling me. He could have charged me a LOT more for what he did. I guess I was just put off by the way he talked to me and how he always kept talking about money for everything...but I guess if you give service to a lot of people with low income you would want to mention the money before anything else...) Anyway, I'm just glad my boy is home and healthy!

That's no problem at all, YLO. I've been running around between the vet and work and my other RL obligations. They keep increasing my hours at work, I'm up to 6 days a week now, I'm just so tired all the time and I can hardly keep up here on Secundi. Thank you for your kind thoughts and wanting to help Kohaku though. ^^
