2016

I don't get emotional about much, but 2016 will forever be a year I will look back on with a heavy heart and massive hatred. Disasters, loss of life, I just can't with how much truly awful has happened this year, and with all of the awful, it's so hard to find any of the good points about the year. I'm not looking forward to 2017 either, but I'm desperately hoping it's even a little better than 2016. Just ugh x_x

Agreed.  2016 has been very hard on a lot of people. In this kind of atmosphere, it's hard to be positive because so many people are reacting to the emotions of so many other people.

I hope 2017 is great!
