As a shy introverted kid growing up, I took a lot of my strength and imagination from the great cartoons I watched on tv. When you're watching tv, you're not worrying about what the other kids will think of you. The Real Ghostbusters was one of my favorites. I didn't realize back then that the cartoon was based on a really great piece of comedic history. It wasn't until I was older that I learned about the Ghostbusters movie and all the other amazing movies which were made by a great man, who worked both in front of and behind the camera. He brought a lot of joy to people during his life.

You will be missed, Harold Ramis.

Aww, sadness!  I never watched the Ghostbusters cartoons, but saw the first movie when I was older.  I don't think I ever saw him in anything else (at least not that stuck with me) but yeah.  He will surely be missed!

We have a fun theater in town that shows old movies fairly often - we just watched Ghostbusters like 2 or 3 weeks ago
