{Capranis} Breeding Second Round (DawnStar7/Rosedawn)

First and foremost it should be noted that some of the breeding in the initial info post is outdated. To be honest, I can't remember the pros-cons of certain reasons why things are done how they are and why I made changes because I did not write them down, so they are subject to change in the future. I will go over the most important things:
-Breeding while both the parents are a part of a kennel will result in 2-6 pups. Breeding with at least one parent outside a kennel results in 1-4 pups.
-Traits, gender, and number of pups is based on even/odd(yes/no) randomizing. How traits are expressed is up to me.
-Capranis must be paged.


Capranis from two different kennels/owners:
-In Kennel means all Capranis are owned by one person. Split Kennel means Capranis from different kennels are bred.
-Using someone else's Capranis is either collaborative between kennels, the input is equal, or someone is using a stud service or reverse breed, but it was all their idea.
-For collaborative kennels, both kennel names are used or the owner of the dam get's their kennel name.
-For someone who uses a service, the requester gets their kennel name used. Only collabs get two kennel names.
-If you use someone else's Capranis, negotiate if a pup is given. They may ask for first pick.

A note about second gen Capranis: They may show more goatlike attributes than their parents. This is because when I came back to drawing them I wanted them to be more even goat to dog ratio. They may have a mix of paws/split hooves, general anatomy changes perhaps, goat beards, and more variant ear shapes. Mestere are still unique in that they are still the only breed to pass single hooves without it being considered a mutation.

Omgggg breeding!!! ^____^ This is so exciting! I think I'd like to see how this will work out, so I will use my own caprani this time, but next time I think I definitely will want to team up with someone to get new blood into my Kennel (even if the result is fewer pups, new blood is worth it!).

-Can studs be used more than once per season? Like if I used my Eski stud, can he also be stud for someone else's litter?
-Is there a benefit for going in as a collaborative with someone, rather than just studding out your caprani?

Studs can breed multiple times, dams not so much!
A collab splits the offspring half/half and offspring gets both kennel prefix's, if they wish it. Also one of the collaborators can not pay the other.
Yes, it will take both of the collaborator's spots.

It ups chances of mutations carrying over by 25%. It also gives in a slight increase of a spontaneous mutation occurring.

skysnolimit:
You can change it if you want. You can do Light's blah blah also, to differentiate it from the rest of the name. If the first litter comes and you decide you don't like 'Light' then let me know!

Saturnalia:
You can breed without items. Some people have them and I didn't want them to forget since they received them so long ago.

I had car trouble today so I missed the first day of my college classes, which very much sucks but I had five extra hours so I finished some litters. I'm kinda proud how they turned out? They made me feel better at least, haha.

A note about show names, I may allow people to change their own puppies names. Right now I'm just very much on the fence about it for a few reasons so I'm not allowing it currently. That doesn't mean I won't allow it later.

Bun, I saw your last pup and I immediately thought of one of my boys who would make some pretty puppies with her, I think! I absolutely love Kadana's second nanny, the pose and expression are just adorable! And all of Ryuu's have gorgeous colors - love how Singing my Blues markings passed on to them.

I love my litter, thank you!  My first girl looks so sad, I just wanna cuddle her.  And the second gal is amazing, I love her expression.. and those pale green eyes!  My boy is handsome, with dad's markings and mom's color, and the last girl.. what can I say, she's so pretty in her dad's color!

Um, yeah college and jobs are big time sinks apparently. What time I did have I focused on my main projects. But I did get these guys done. I'm going to try to get the rest done before 2014 and hopefully when spring semester comes I won't be as bad because I don't have my job and I'm only doing three classes.

Posted some Christmas babies yaaaaay! A lot of them have flaws in the lineart that wasn't apparent till I previewed them on this background but I'll try to fix the worst offenders. I need to tinker with the process.
Anyway, first caprani with a stat better than 'good' has been born. Congrats Country and Knowing Pharaoh!

Anyway, I don't know if I'll do a round 2 at this point. I need to think on it. I'll probably do contests though. They will probably be in a new thread since the nursery post is so dang long.
