The Cattery - starting up!

Welcome!  The Cattery will be starting up here on Secundi, and you will be able to import all your Cattery cats over the next few weeks.  I would like to get all (or as close to all as we can) before starting new kitty events.  I know we probably won't be able to get all of them, due to some owners not being on Secundi at the moment.

Luckily, this should be slightly easier than the dogs were, as 1- there are waaaaaay less cats, 2- no breedings have been done, so no pedigree craziness, and 3- no established competitions to mess with the numbering system XD

Also, since there are far fewer cats, we will not be having an actual Import item.  When I open imports, there will be a fee per cat.  I haven't decided the exact fee yet, but it will probably be about the same as one of the Import items from the Kennel.

Things will be very slow and laid-back with the Cattery, so don't worry if there are periods of seeming inactivity - I will get things moving again before long

Feel free to chat for a bit; I might open a slot or two for Imports tonight, just have to decide how I want to handle it.

Ok, I'll edit this in to the top post in a bit, but I want to get a little feedback on it first.

The higher price for the first sets is because I have to go in and make all the sets to use on them, but once each is made, it will be easier to equip, of course

I think I will leave this a day or two, make sure everyone has a chance to see, maybe save up the SG they may need, before opening the first slot.  I am still working out some of this, so it may change before I actually get things running smoothly - please bear with me!

Good question - it was actually your Chloe that got me thinking about it in the first place!

For now, only toy sets that you currently own, whether they are equipped or not.  In your case, if you wanted all three of your cats to have the same set of toys (Chloe's), you could do that (10 SG for Chloe to get hers, 5 SG each to give the same set to each other cat that you wanted to give it to)

If you had none equipped, but had one sitting in your inventory, it would be 15 SG to equip it to the first cat, and 5 SG for each additional cat to get the same pack.  If you have multiple packs, and want each cat to have a different one, it is 15 SG each.

I won't have any "new" sets available for the moment, but I'll be working on those - once a good portion of the cats have been imported, I'll get an event of some sort going (item sales, and maybe a non-owner event, since I'm sure there are several of those XD)

Just a question as I would prefer my colors as packs for my kitties, will there eventually be a way to trade toys we have?  or maybe trade them in for others (cause I have 5 toy packs but all in reds and whites, and I like my blue and pink or Black and red with skull)

I'm sure we can manage a pack trade in at some point - having a "set" pack or two (or three or however many) per owner would definitely make things a wee bit less complicated XD

Oh, I haven't decided yet if I will be removing the old images once they have been imported, so if you like the old certed images, you still have time to save them.  I'll warn you all before I start deleting them.
