Yes, i know that title is pretty cheesy and overused but ah well   This is the thread for breeding season! I'm going to get this up, and then save a few posts. I'll edit in information bit by bit. You can chat while i set up, but please no posting breedings until i say so. Because it could get complicated if any breedings are posted before all the rules are up.
Please remember that this is my first breeding season with Gliders, so i'm still working out how to do this. So it might go slower that hoped, and might be a little jerky. Also, RL is going a bit rough for me at the moment so that also slows things up. I'll post a full note on that in a bit.

Note on my life... My exams are over for now, so i'm back at school. So i'll be on afternoons and evenings UK times, and possibly on for 5 minutes to check stuff in the morning. However i'm under loads of pressure at the moment, and i did really badly in my exams. Out of the five i sat, i've failed three, got a C in one and i'll get the other one back tomorrow. So that's really depressing.

Breeding information and forms

-No items needed
-Only male x female breedings allowed.
-The breeding results in an egg, which grows up between a few days and a month.
-Females can breed once per season, males twice.
-You may trade your egg before the breeding, and so put a different user as the owner of the egg, or you may trade the egg after.
-The egg must be named before it grows up.
-Each breeding costs 5k.

- You may use other people's Gliders but permission is needed.
- You may charge for the use of your Glider in breeding, but you may not charge usd.

-There is a 20% chance of getting twins, and a 5% chance of getting triplets.
-If both parents have the same mutation/marking, there is 100% chance of the egg having that mutation/marking. If one parent has a mutation/marking, there is a 50% chance.

-All percentage-related choices will be made by random.org. I will put in from 1 to 100 and if the number comes up the same or less than the percentage then that will be given. For example twins, i'll put in a random number from 1 to 100 and if it's 20 or less there will be twins and if it's 5 or less it will be triplets.

-For this breeding season, each person may post up to four breedings each. This may change, i'm trying it out to see how that munber is.

Hehe, it doesn't really matter, i just look at the images and as long as there's one male and one female i'm happy. I didn't even notice that they were the wrong way round!

I feel bad about this, but i only got YLO's first breeding done tonight! I was hoping to get a small batch done.
There are a few reasons; firstly i'm doing the adults at the same time as the eggs (before actually) so am colouring two Gliders. Even though eggs are pretty quick. Also, my parents spen a while tonight arguing with me/lecturing me about school So that took up quite a bit of time and put me off doing anything.

I'd like to hear some opinion from you guys! Would you prefer if i did all the eggs in order, got them all out and named and then posted the adults. Or if i grew the adults as i got names, depending on time. Because since i'm colouring adults at the same time as eggs the up to a month growing rule doesn't really matter and will probably go after this season.
I did think that i would change a few rules with experience, it's all about practice.


A reminder about egg colours/ marking The adult was coloured first so i know what markings she has. I then colour the base colour onto the egg and add little splotches of colour to try to represent the markings. If YLO doesn't mind the spoiler, i can explain it in relation to this egg

Night everyone! I'll definately try to get more eggs out tomorrow, and thanks for being so nice about slowness!
If it's generally wanted, i'll explain how i think up the eggy markings. It's difficult for me to see if i would understand it without knowing the adult (obviously, cos i coloured the adult lol) so i'd like to see if it makes sense to others or not.

For trading and stud/RB fee purposes I personally prefer to know what markings & mutations an egg actually has. What color represents what exactly, well that's a nice surprise when it grows. I think seeing the basic colorscheme and knowing what the markings/mutations are should be enough to decide which egg(s) to keep and that way there is still a little surprise when it grows because you don't know exactly what marking has what color etc ^^ The eggie looks pretty >w< So exciting!

Hmm, YLO's right I'll let people know the mutations the adult has, but not the markings. Them you have to guess.
YLO's egg has no mutations, random didn't agree with passing mum's spines on.

Some markings are obvious, for example spots means ldapple or hdapple and how many spots there are shows which. Or if the adult has ZZ i colour a tiny bit of ZZ. Dorsal stripe or underbelly is one edge coloured and bfade would be half fading a different colour. One little splash of colour could be something small, like a blaze or socks.
Does that make more sense? Or am i being confusing?

My brain suddenly figured out this breeding has the possibility of caramel brown, chocolate brown and pastel yellow in one Glider. And that is one of my favorite color combos.. Sooo here we go, fingers crossed! 8D I know there's also a chance of getting grey paint instead, but I decided it was worth the gamble ^^
