Notes: Flicker is still fresh and new to this world, anxiously flitting about on its improbably small wings. The whimsy's beacon, teacher and guide is a firefly, which Flicker follows dutifully wherever he goes. The firefly is a real insect, however the power of whimsy has expanded both his intelligence and lifespan. Flicker was born the moment a child's fear of the dark was vanquished by a nightlight.

Notes:Reverie is the epitome of poise and grace, always careful not to trip or misstep in any way. Their tailfeathers are always bright and pristine because they almost never allow them to touch ground. Reverie was born of a daughter's love of a porcelain family heirloom in the form of a peacock, kept safe and well out of reach in a glass-enclosed cabinet.  The flame companion is mostly ignored by Reverie, but it follows along regardless and sings a merry song in its crackling flame voice.

Notes: When a child saw a lizard crawl through a rainbow shimmer spray from a summer's sprinkler, this whimsy was born. It is simple in its desires of basking in the sun and relaxing on lazy hot days. there is an undertone of cheer and merriment, and the love of the impossible.

Notes: Born from a teacher telling their class that chickens are descendant from dinosaurs, it is the amalgamation of several imaginings. It speaks in the rasping voice of a parrot and has the feathers of a chicken. The rainbow stegosaurus is all on little Susie, though. This whimsy is delighted but a little startled that it has come to be. Surely the existential crisis will settle over time...

Notes: Born from the good feelings that happen during festive occassions, this restless little whimsy has taken on the form reminescent of a wisp based on the imaginations and superstitions of the local folk. They have conjured a friend alongside them, since being alone makes for a poor party indeed!

Notes: This whimsy was born from the satisfaction of a grandmother as she tends her garden, examining the ecosystem beneath the leaves of her flowers with wonder and a sense of awe at how each creature moved with a sense of purpose. Accomplishment and self sufficiency drives this whimsy, ever-maintaining what is important to them and forging onward to achieve their goals through hard work and perseverance. This whimsy once had a small companion... but they ate it.
